It was odd, he thought, the madman shaking his head once. How much things had changed. His hands lifted, unseen, to touch those seraphic features. He had lost his sight when brought here and yet now.. now he was comfortable with the lack of vision that remained here and now in his thoughts.

"Hmf."

But there was still the issue of the fact that.. well.. he couldn't see. The place had taken it from him and so he sat out somewhere quiet and open, simply keeping his eyes shut as he meditated. However, any noise nearby would earn his head lifting upwards to glance around for the source of it. Seeing might not have been possible for Sephiroth anymore, but his senses had finally adjusted to compensate.

[ Open and quiet. Duke likes that too, so the quiet walking of the other castle-blinded man grows somewhat close, then pauses. He can hear someone else - barely, faintly - and the scents -

Oh well. Duke sits himself next to a wall. ]

[Jon is walking by, making sure he doesn't get too far ahead of Catelyn, when a familiar sight comes into view. He stops dead in his tracks.]

Master Sephiroth?

[ooc: Jon's on a loss where he's chained to Catelyn. Shall the order be Sephiroth >> Jon >> Catelyn??]

[Hear that Sephiroth? There's a man walking nearby, but the moment he sees the silver haired male, he'll raise a single brow curiously and look into his camera's viewfinder, snapping a shot of you.

'Click'.]

[Luckily, Cat does not bump into him. She'll just stand there for the moment, giving Jon a questioning look. A friend of yours?]

'You seem in a better mood than most today.'

[Seph's journal will chime at him after Jade recognizes your grumpiness]

Perhaps I've finally managed to accept the loss that I was dealt. .. Or perhaps it's because I've found the coffee around here.

[ Or both. Sephiroth has managed to deal with worse before. ]

[ His head turns slightly in response to the click and he snorts once. ]

I hope it was a good shot.

[ Typically, he'd break the camera, but he can't aim well enough to cast a spell. So he'll settle for a scowl. ]

[ A familiar voice to him and those blinded eyes flicker in Jon's direction, though-- ]

Jon Snow. And you have someone with you.

[ Such was the joy of having enhanced senses; two different treads and two different styles of walking. ]

[ .. Ah, that noise of walking. He chuckles once, his voice shifting through the air after a moment. ]

.. Duke?

... Correct. [ And since Duke knows Sephiroth can't see either, he's more comfortable with pulling out that braille book he found.

And somewhat failing at decoding what those dots mean. He'll figure it out eventually. ]

A good shot, but whether or not the photo will develop well or not is another story.

[He'll take a few steps closer, cause even if he knew who you were he absolutely would not give a fuck yo'.]

[ .. Yep, he knows that voice. ]

Noble.. I'm no such thing. I cannot see and likely never will again and I have to learn how to compensate for that. It annoys me, but there is nothing I can do to return to how I was.

[ Acceptance is a harsh burden, but it has taken place. ]

[ .. Oh dear god, that sounds like Reno. The Turk always made him want to set him on fire. ]

You're lucky I cannot see. I dislike cameras.

[ If the other would but share it, Sephiroth would appreciate it. He wishes to read again but.. alas, he cannot. Though his skin is sensitive enough now that the man could possibly make out the words via printed pages. ]

... Has been. Before the world change, I think. [ He's trying to figure it out still. It's hard without knowing what the book was supposed to be in the first place. ]

Ah- yes. This is my... father's wife, the Lady Catelyn Stark. Lady Stark, this is Master Sephiroth. [He doesn't know why, but just saying Sephiroth doesn't feel right.]

I suppose it's a good thing I know how to dodge.

But I'm not trying to start any fights, so I suppose I can cut down on the photograph taking if it bothers you that much.

'You're accepting this rather well. Your temperament is much better than it usually is, at least.'

[Halfway wondering if the man knows it's Jade, but he'll have fun either way.]

_{[Ashura wandered the castle, a cup of warm tea between his hands and the pokemon trailing his robes. He sipped as the two creatures yipped, suddenly pausing to look at the strange man sitting so quietly.]}

_{[He looks back, noticing they have stopped and looks on to see Sephiroth.]}

Oh, hello sir. You two, do not bother him.

".. It is because I have had time in which to grow use to what this place took from me."

The words come out slow and careful, but still clearly considered in how he's phrased things.

"I apologize. I am used to.. pictures being taken of me from where I was taken. They were.. publicity. .. I suppose that I don't have to worry about such a thing here. No, your.. picture taking doesn't bother me. Not that much."

A cold sense of amusement threaded its way into the man's voice and he shook his head slightly.

The noises of the creatures earned a turn of the madman's head, blinded eyes seeking out the origins even as he knew he would not see anything as a result.

"Hello," rumbled the tones in velveteen softness, his head turning slightly as if to get a better sense of the noises being made around himself.

A stick? No. Is it yours?

"Yes, I believe that you are right."

His head shakes slightly as he glances in the other's direction. Or what would pass for Duke's direction.

You shouldn't worry about it.

I only take a single picture of any given thing anyway, unless someone asks otherwise.

If I snap a shot of you again it's because you're close to something interesting, or someone I haven't met before.

Duke's not particularly good at throwing his voice so it's very likely Sephiroth is looking in the right direction.

Especially when the short noise of agreement to Sephiroth's comment is followed by silent attempting-to-read.... then an irritated noise as he shuts the book and sort-of-carefully drops it next to him.

[How boring. Jade liked it better when you were fussy. Can he still throw pillows at you?]

'Well, at least you've got time on your side. no one's leaving here for a while.'

[A giggle.]
