Early last month, I suggested we come together to share the legends and fables of our own worlds in order to help us better understand one another and bond as a community.

For those of you interested, I have selected the cusp of summer for this meeting. I think we will find a clearing and have a campfire, so please dress appropriately. And have your stories ready; not everyone is expected to participate, but I do not want anyone suffering from stage fright and embarrassing themselves.

If you will tell a story, please give me your name.

[A pause.]

For those of you not interested: if you show up just to disrupt us, I'll forcibly eject you myself.

Legends, myths, creation stories, fables ... those sorts of things. Anything that will give an insight into your culture. [A pause, and she continues wryly:] I am uninterested in hearing tales of personal bravado or drunken mischief, for example.
