ℙ the thirteenth;

[Each note is written, a hurried note that is full of long pauses and she only hopes that it delivers when she's finished with it, rather than in the midst of it.]

Bonnie ]

I know our meeting was brief and tense, recently and I know you have no reason to trust me - but you need to know that Klaus is here. [She pauses here, moving across the room to close up anything that might have been seen as personal.]

I heard him speaking with a Geoffrey Chaucer. You can find his drawings and their conversation. If he's from the same time as me, he's already too powerful for this place and he's broken the curse. Which means he's both a werewolf and a vampire. I only hope he's from before.

---

[She assumes Bonnie's note gets left to her first as she's telling the castle to get rid of all of her things. She doesn't care where they go, but the room needs to clear out. Save for the things she's put in a bag - she knows she can wish for the rest of it later, right now she needs to leave behind nothing.]

Lilah & Tess ]

I'm sorry to do this so suddenly, but if I'm right, which I believe I am [her words pause here again, moving the remaining furniture back to the way it was when she first arrived. Though, there is no Alaric here to annoy, but instead she's just going to forget that part.] then Klaus is here. His accent is nearly unforgettable.

Depending on when [She underlines it for emphasis] he's from he could have broken the curse. He could be a hybrid. I'm sure the castle would want to make my life perfect, so I'm betting that he's from later. Do whatever you can to break associations with me. Filter old entries that mention me, if there are any. If he can't find me, he'll just go after others.

[Another long pause as she starts to pace. She knows that she can't just run. There's no where to run to.]

Distribute vervain to as many people as you can. I'll be in touch.

---

[The more notes she leaves the more strained her emotions get. This is not just panic and paranoia, but true concern and fear. Against her better judgment, she filters to those that attended her class. She isn't even sure who some of them were and honestly a few of them seemed ill-prepared for this sort of situation. Two spoke in whispered tones about vampires from back home, one was just a rather large... red guy. Wesley... She's still not too trusting of him.]

Attendees of her Lecture from Sunday: ]

[This is spoken, mostly because she doesn't want to waste time with details or wording.]

I'm only hoping that some of you were paying attention during the part about where my lineage comes from. I mentioned the Original Vampires, one by the name of Klaus who was unique to our kind. I am nearly positive that he's here in the castle. I hope you are using vervain and that you have provided it to those that you care about. He is a very charming man, but he is a dangerous one as well. He stands just shy of six feet tall, his accent is of English origins. Blue eyes, blonde hair. [She's pacing again, which means those listening will hear her steps since she's dictating this small section.] I have feared very few things in my life, but this is definitely something I never would've wished to this place.

This is not something to put over the journals. Compulsion means he can simply find out anything anyone is saying over the books by asking them to reveal it to him. The panic among residents would only cause him to become upset and he would just look harder. Warn those you care about. Tell them to warn those they care about.

Tell them of vervain. Tell them to be safe. Tell them to tell others. Try to keep as much of it off the written page as possible. By Monday this entry will be gone. [Okay, slightly Mission Impossible, but she doesn't make mistakes. Not like this.]

[With that she'll close the dictation and move to the hallway to remove her nameplate. She tries to reason with the castle, insisting that it keep it removed and hopes for the best.]

---

Gwaine ]

[Now she is back to writing things down. Her penmanship is something she tries to control, but she realizes there are some words that slide into others as she feels her words rushing slightly.]

I must apologize, but I'm not sure I'll be able to spend time with you for a while. It seems the castle has decided if I am not easy to control anymore it will simply find someone else to try and do what it cannot. Someone from my world, someone that I spent all those years running from it seems has arrived here. I can only pray that I am mistaken, but I am sure that his voice is truly unique.

It would be easy to ask for shelter, to trust you to keep me guarded, but I know that if I was to bring my past to your door it would end poorly for anyone I cared for and I do care a great deal for you. It would be best if you did not speak of me to strangers, his reach is far greater than you could ever imagine.

---

[She exhales and closes her journal. With one final look around her room, she's satisfied that it looks the way it should. Empty. She leaves the castle in the cover of night. When she arrives somewhere that isn't the castle, she sits down and takes out her journal. She has three final notes to leave.]

Morgana ]

I believe Klaus is in the castle. I only hope you heeded my advice and have been taking the vervain I provided you with every morning. It will be your greatest advantage.

[The note is short and concise. She trusts the other woman to do what she needs to with the information.]

---

Ezio ]

A woman is in need of secrecy. Someone from my world, from my past has arrived. He will look for me with the intent of harm. His name is Klaus and he is far more dangerous than I can even express. I know I told you a little of him, but please - be safe, Ezio. Protect those you care about.

Do not speak of me to strangers. He has the ability to control others into asking his questions, doing his will. He's never been the type to create a scene when it wasn't needed.

I can take care of myself. Please, stay safe. Remember to take the vervain.

---

Neal ]

[She stops writing, honestly she's not sure she's ever written that much before. Diaries were always Stefan's thing. Instead she leans back and dictates her final note:]

Of all the people that this castle could bring here... [this is probably the first exhale she's taken that isn't just her pausing to think.]

Neal, I know you can't leave the castle and I'm sure you've never thought of it as a good thing - but trust me when I say this will help you a great deal. You won't be able to be led somewhere to try and lure me out. You won't be sent to me to get information. Stay in the castle. Take the vervain. Steer clear of people you don't know.

Don't speak of me. [She's certain she needs to have Bonnie figure out if it'd be wiser to say Katherine left and Elena is still here... she's not even sure right now.]

I spent half a century running from him and the one time I stop -- the castle brings him to me.

I've tried to tell those I could. If I warn everyone, the panic will just upset him more and he'll look even harder. [She's quiet for a bit.] I might need a favor from you, but I will only ask it if I know that you'll be safe.

I'm sure you'll still worry, even if I say it, but don't worry about me. I've lived for five hundred years -- this place won't stop me.

---

[With that final note written, she begins to prepare the rest of her plan. It's going to be a very, very long night.]
