[the distinct lack of teasing in general was odd, to say the least. Perhaps more specifically, teasing about the fact that she's somehow in the cabin of wisdom with all the studious kids. Not to mention she hasn't heard from Shizuru since the world change began.
So she's making her rounds through the cabins, poking her head in without so much as a hello. And once all the cabins were searched, she takes a look at all the other places. Mess hall, stables, arena, lake, etc.
And at the very edge of camp, she finds a statue with a rather startling resemblance to Shizuru.
...There's a hissing intake of breath. Great. She sighs and flips her journal open.]
Does anybody know if some people got turned into statues? Do they actually feel anything or would it be dumb to drag them to a more sheltered place?
