It's--well, it's here! There's a castle where everyone has a room, then a town outside, and then lots and lots of wilderness outside that. There's a kitchen that has all the food you could want on the first floor.

[At the mention of food his voice seems to brighten considerably]

Really!? Do they have bread?

[Takato was hopelessly confused. Not that this was anything new for him. The last thing he remembered he had been in Shinjuku talking to Juri after they had sent out their messages in the data packets. It wasn't the same as having Guilmon back, but there had been hope. That maybe he would see the message.

And then he was here, in some place that looked like a strange hotel or castle. Takato had just had enough time to start panicking when his D-Arc beeped. Barely daring to hope, he draws it out and simply stares at the active compass.

And Takato starts to run.]

Guilmon! Guilmon! Can you hear me?

[He knows that voice! He's recognize it absolutely anywhere. Plus it hadn't been that long since he'd heard it]

Takato? Takato?! Where are you? [He'll start running in the direction of his friend's voice.]

I can hear you!

Guilmon? Is that you?

Yes! [Wait...] Kinda? ... I'm not Guilmon right now, but I'm still Guilmon.

Do you know me?

Guilmon! [Takato's eyes start to water at the sound of the familiar voice. He'd almost started to be afraid that he would never hear his friend's voice again.]

I can hear you, boy! I'm coming!

My name's York. I have a partner who's kind of like a Digimon myself. His name's Delta.

I think we met you before, but you might not remember it.

Okay! I'm coming too! [Just as quickly as these stubby little legs will take him.

[Takato bursts into the lobby and looks around frantically for any sign of something red.]

I'm here! I'm here! [And a little red Gigimon will come rushing over to your legs. He's a lot closer to the ground than he normally is!]

Gigimon. [Takato scrubs roughly at his face to stop the tears from falling as he drops down to his knees.]

I've missed you, boy. So much. [He holds his hands out to him.]

[Gigimon'll hop right into those waiting hands. It feels so good to be back with his partner again]

I haven't been away that long, Takato. [As far as he knows, he just made you promise to play with him again.]

[Just pretend those icons are still Gigimon. He's very hard to find]

[Takato is just going to hug him.]

It was way too long. I haven't seen you in months.

Months? [He'll happily take that hug and nuzzle into the warmth]

It was a long time ago. We've been back in school a while. [He laughs as the nuzzling tickles.] But Jen came up with a way to send some messages to the Digital World. I sent you a letter.

You did? Oooh, I've never gotten a letter before.

I guess you didn't get it. But that's okay! I'm just glad that we're together again.
