Alright. I've played along so far with the tea dresses with ankle socks and pin curls, but this is an extreme I was not expecting when I came into work today.

I wasn't going to forget that today is the fourth. Honest.

[She's done venting to the castle and now addresses the rest of the place.]

If you've seen the fliers in the lobby, they're accurate. Apparently, the castle is helping me hold a party - which I didn't need help with in the first place, but either way - it starts tonight and everyone's welcome. It's also Steve's birthday, but no gifts required.

Just tell him happy birthday when you see him. [Her voice sounds a bit flatter than usual, seeing as she's not exactly thrilled with what she's wearing. Again.]

We need to talk about the kind of company you kept when you were back home.

Yep. Not one I would ever wear, on my own, either.

[This is awkward. He was trying to keep it to himself!]

I tried to keep it small, I invited your friends. Then... this happened and there's a party for Victory Day. Not really sure what Victory we have here in the castle, but -- it doesn't seem to matter.

Jo ]

[Steve can appreciate that. ;;] Thanks Jo. Let's just try to make the best of it; outfits and all.

Oh, I'm gonna try - but this isn't exactly comfortable for me.

[Haymitch doesn't really care what the castle does to his atire as he steps into the Lux (after all, it's not all that different to what he wears normally anyway). He will, however, take one look at Jo and chuckle himself to his usual seat.

[She points at him, with a slight bit of warning in her expression. It's the sort of warning that goes along with Jo being stuck in an outfit like this.]

I can refuse to serve you, if you give me any lip - you realize.

Yes. Apparently.

Wouldn't dream of mocking your little...uh. Whatever party you've got going on here.

I didn't pick it. [Shrug. She tries to stop the damn skirt from swishing with every step she takes, but it... just swishes by default.]

Do you want a drink or do you think you just want to mock me for a bit longer. [She might seem slightly bitter, but she's still amused a touch.]

[He'll just nod. Steve refrains from agreeing with her on his end because of the tights. God help him he's wearing tights.]

I can handle the other skirts. This is a little over the top.

The new thing? Yes, but the bar is still the same as it's been all week.
