[It's been about two weeks since Alex arrived back at the castle, fresh from a bizarre and unsettling three month stay in Paris, and much to her relief those muddy, missing memories have finally started to return in full. The layout of the castle is different, and a few names are still pretty jumbled up, but for the most part her previous stay in Paradisa is clear as crystal. 

Except that she can't, for the life of her, figure out why her teleportation magic isn't working.]

Dude, this is so not the kitchen. 

[Confused, she flashes back out of the room, appearing right in front of-] 

((ooc: open to the entire castle and its grounds - feel free to have her appear in front of your character, wherever they may be!))

[Hermione is only a little startled by the girl suddenly flashing in front of her]

What are you doing?

Not going to get dinner, apparently.

[She gives her wand a shake, as if that will help the problem.]

You can just walk from here. We're only on the fifth floor.

[delincuente]

Hey, first rule of magic - never walk in if you can flash in.

[Pause.]

Okay, so that's more of an Alex rule than a general thing, but you get the drift.

[Eh, teleportation magic is something he's used to, he only idly glances up in case it's Twilight wanting something, and GRINS when he sees who it is]

Alex! You DID come back.

Then maybe we can test to see if my magic still works?

Sure. Good luck with that.

[There's no way that it's just her magic. That would be stupid and unfair, right?]

Come on, then. I'll take you down to the kitchen. [hey she's trying to be nice here]

[delincuente]

[It takes her a couple of seconds to register what the hell just happened, but then she just nods coolly and looks around.]

Looks like it.

[delincuente]

[Alex is totally appreciative, too. She's showing it by not making fun of Hermione's hair.]

Okay. Show me what you got.

[hopefully Alex won't mind the super uncomfortable feeling of Apparating. Because that's what Hermione will attempt to do! She's never tried it with someone else in Paradisa so hopefully they'll end up in the kitchen]

I told you that you came from a magic castle. You still remember everything, right?

[This all catches Alex so off guard that, with the exception of a brief, strangled, "Holy crap!", she barely has any time to react to this, until they reach their destination, whatever it may be, and she tumbles quite expertly to the ground. Apparating was not made for wearers of four inch heels.]</i?

Careful. It is a bit disorienting.

So, did we make it to the kitchen all right?

Can't tell yet. It's a bit disorienting.

[She's still trying to get up off the floor, which is hard when you're dizzy.]

Pretty much, I guess. Enough that I'm, like, ninety percent unsurprised to see you as a dragon.

[offers her hand gently] Let me help you.

Only ninety, huh? What happened to the other ten percent?

It's still sipping coffee in Paris.

[She takes it eagerly, stumbling to her feet.]

What the heck was that?

[When a very cute girl appears randomly in front of you, it's a clear sign that it's going to be a really, really good day.

Jacob just sort of stares blankly a moment... before putting both his hands up.]

Whatever happened, it wasn't me.

oooh i'm tellin on you

[She looks at Jacob... then at her wand... then back at Jacob.]

Well. That wasn't what I was expecting to happen.

[shirtless]

[He hadn't noticed it at first, but now he sees that wand. That's a new accessory.]

Wait. What were you expecting?

[delincuente]

I was trying to get to the kitchen. I think this thing's broken.

[She gives it a little shake, sending sparks flying. Then, all of the sudden, she looks up.]

Wait - what are you doing in the castle? I thought you lived in Paris!

[shirtless]

[Oh, magic. It's been a while since he's been around that. He hides a smirk at the sparks that fly, but otherwise says nothing about it.]

Guess the castle didn't get enough of me the first time I was here. What about you? Was that whole "starving artist" thing just a way to get me to buy you lunch?
