I learned my lesson.

[ Kitty was actually shocked when she woke up this morning and her stomach-ache had gone. All that wishing for food (especially the snacks) bit her in the butt. And not just that, but it was mostly the food. And snacks. She hadn't wished as much lately after learning some cooking but... sometimes lazy teen struck ]

If Piper were still here she'd probably say "I told you so" and she was right, wishing is not good. [ Pause ] How many people will actually stop wishing? Especially completely? What if there's something you need and it's not in the castle or town, would you just go without it or would you hope that the castle doesn't bite back?

I probably can't say that I'd stop wishing, not completely. [ But she'll definitely try and cook more, yep ]

Is everyone okay now?

So the castle's magic and that was it's consequence. Have you ever had anything like that before? Your magic isn't wish-y but... it's magic? [ Nosy Kitty go ]

The castle hasn't had any effect upon my magic and sometimes using it can have consequences. I haven't used any big spells though.

Do you think it'd be like that if you did? The wishing consequence thing.

Wishing is a dangerous thing. We've met genies a couple of times and that fact's kind of been hammered home.

Maybe. I wouldn't want to try in case something really bad happened.

That's smart. And I hope nothing happens in case you ever do need to do something.

I guess you need the proof sometimes before you can believe it.

That's true. I never really thought twice about wishing until I had to deal with a genie. And that's certainly been the case with other things as well.

What kind of other things?

Feeling a lot better, and glad for it. [ Though she's still thinking of taking it easy the next few days ] Did you get hit by... some sickness?

No, I didn't, actually. Why, did you get sick or something?

Yeah. I had a stomache ache that wouldn't go away. [ For a few days ] A lot of the castle was sick too.

Huh. Glad I missed being sick myself because having a stomach ache isn't nice. I'm glad that you're feeling better.

I'm glad you missed it too, it sucked. And everyone seemed to be sick differently, too.

I'm going to put it down to castle craziness. Making everyone sick for no good reason.

Yeah, that became general consensus. You think it's too much to figure out why it did it?

Maybe you could ask one of the medical staff here. They might have a better clue.

Maybe, though it went away on its own, I didn't go to the clinic.

You should have, especially if it didn't go away after a while.
