[It's been almost two weeks and Cloud is still one fluffy cloud... However after so many hours of boredom, he's learned some tricks.

You observant people might have noticed something going on in the skies for the entire week. There is some random cloud shapes happening without there being a breeze to shape them; it might look like dragons, then like lions and sometimes like those weird four legged creatures from the stables. But the majority are some huge birds, chocobos in fact for those who know them by name...

And the oddest of all... A sword?

Yep, he's been practising. What else is there to do when you're a cloud? Raining and thunder can be tiring you know?

Today though, he is bored and it shows...

When will this stupid loss end?

He might as well go down to ground level and mix with humans (or whatever you are) for a change. He's able to form words now! Even if it's only short ones... All that hard work paid out!]

[Sheena had been adding to her growing collection of drawings with a few additions of the strange flowers growing in the garden when she spotted the cloud above her in the shape of a dragon. A few deft strokes later, and it had been captured on the paper in front of her.

Then it changed into a weird-looking bird... Smiling slightly, she copied that as quickly as she could, but this time when she looked up, she saw the cloud was much closer and she could make out that tell-tale spike on one side..]

I thought it was you! Sorry I couldn't help you change back, but it looks like you've been having fun.

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Well, well, look who we have here! He approaches and hovers next to her, peeking into the paper in front of her.

She was good with that! It takes him a second or two but he changes into a thumb up.]

[Sheena laughs delightedly.]

Glad you like it.

[Sets it aside and does another quick one: cloud then thumbs up.]

[This one went to the roof to charge. And when he looks up, he nearly jumps out of his skin]

...I hope that's not the castle talking...

[bustered]

[Zack is finally back from his camping out for a week and then some -- a trip in which he'd been followed, now and then, by the little storm cloud that had zapped him good on that first Sunday. He'd done his best to try to behave around it -- not easy when he didn't know what had set it off in the first place -- but he'd also kept his Materia handy, just in case he had to freeze it again.

Thankfully, it hadn't gotten to that point.

He'd finally returned to his space in the Castle though, cleaned up and gotten a nice night of rest in a bed. And, as he'd done every day since the blond disappeared, he'd written a short note in the journal, hoping for a response. (And, as had been the case every day he'd written a note, there was no reply.)

Currently, he's wandered down to the courtyard, hoping to spend some time working out with his sword in a place that offers enough room to swing it.]

[He comes back to his... usual shape, that spiky yet fluffy cloud. Are you having fun with that?

Anyway, he's been away for a while, let's see what's up. And he changes:]

Sup?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Nope, it's not! Let's just say Cloud is passing by near the roof--why so scared, kid? And he changes himself into:]

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Hmm... Look who decided to go come back... Still carrying and using his sword, huh?

The cloud approaches from behind and let's out a mighty thunder only to make this one jump.]

[bustered]

[The sudden rumble of thunder makes Zack start: the sky is clear and the sun bright; there shouldn't be any thunder. But as he looks around and finally behind him, he sees that strange cloud from the other day.

Oh, joy.]

Back again?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[If Cloud would smirk if he could. However he'll just content himself with bothering him. It takes him a second to change into a little word.]

[bustered]

No.

[He stretches, rolling shoulders and upper arms, drawing the blade from its place on his back and moving slowly into a warm-up stance. He hasn't forgotten the cloud, though.]

I'm not.

[heliotroping]

I'd... just rather not deal with chaos today... [he feels a little weird talking directly to the sky, even weirder that it's responding]

[shrugs_a_lot]

[As much as he's practiced, it's difficult to change into more than one word... Which sucks! He'll change one by one if he needs to... Stupid magic castle and its stupid losses...]

[Zack is determined not to let the cloud interrupt his training! Thus, he's already in movement when the words start to form -- though he does stop dead when he notices.]

It's... Yours?

No. This one's not.

[Reno seems to be here now. Where he came from - no one knows! He scoffs when at the scene and can't seem to help speaking up]

Don't you need hands to hold stuff anyway...?

[That voice... He doesn't even have to turn.]

[Oh he's getting better at this!]

[Okay Zack would be lying to himself if he didn't admit that the cloud struggling to make words isn't at least a little bit funny. Because it is! But hey, maybe Zack has someone on his side now?

Well, hadn't they decided that Turk and SOLDIER don't really need to be at odds here?]

Hey, Reno.

[And an eyeroll at the cloud.]

Uppity little thing. Seems to have taken a liking to me. [And by that he means that he thinks it hates him! Sadfaise.]

[She likes that shape and draws it again--this time with a few blades of grass below. She's going to give him one of these as soon as she finds out who he is.]

Whoa! You have been having fun! Ummm...Let's see. I've actually moved from the castle in with some friends... Who don't know I enjoy drawing by the way.

It's a secret, okay?

Yo. [he gives a casual nod to Zack, not letting it show that's it's still kinda weird to have a guy that's been dead for YEARS around]

It does seem uppity all right. [He looks curiously at it, trying to figure out how that thing knew his name] Where'd it come from?

[shrugs_a_lot]

[Changes back to his usual shape and hovers over Reno. Do you hear that distant thunder, man? His patience is running low...]

[bustered]

Not a clue. Showed up about a week ago in my room, started zapping me all to hell. I've seen it on and off since.

[A pause as he watches the cloud reform itself and hover over the redhead.]

Couldn't tell you if it'd been around before that, though.

And it thinks you stole something?

[He'll just look up at it. Do your worse Cloud, he absorbs lightning]

[shrugs_a_lot]

[He knows, but so what? Zap. It's only to make himself clear or something! At least his hair will get all charged.]

[bustered]

Apparently.

[Hnnnng, at least it's not zapping Zack this time. He's had quite enough of that!]

And it does that too. A lot.
