[Since the world change, Renee has been trying to figure out what irritated her the most about it. She's finally rounded it down to two. The first being the feeling of violation that she feels at the castle for messing with her memories. And the second being the many unwanted feelings the world change had brought up. For the first time since she got here she's thinking about her family. The one she hasn't seen or spoken to in close to two and a half years now. And she really couldn't even blame that on the castle. But since she has no way of truly venting her anger short of marching up to the castle and telling it off, which would be both stupid and pointless, she's just going to add her two cents on to of everyone else's.]
So I think we can all agree that the last world change sucked even more than they usually do. And I know I'm not the only one who feels violated by what the castle did to our memories. But what I can guarantee is that things like this are going to keep happening unless something is done. I know it's easier to get on here and go on about how we need to find a way home and much harder to put into practice. But I at least know a good place to start.
Stop giving the castle so much power over you. Stop depending on it so much. It might not stop any future world changes but will stop things like what happened early this month with the wishes. As far as I'm concerned the castle is the enemy. Why would you put any trust in it?
[With that rant over with, she feels a little better. It's something she's been wanting to say for awhile, especially after the sickness that went around. She honestly doesn't know if it would change anything to people stop wishing, but it couldn't hurt. Before she closes the journal she ends a few private messages at the end.]
Gren
We're never talking about this. Ever. [She didn't know what to say besides that. If she was being truthful she might mention that Gren had kind of reminded her of her own little brother. She'd missed that closeness. But Renee is a pro at repressing things she doesn't want to think about.]
[/end]
[She almost hesitates before adding this one. There's nothing keeping her from seeking him out, but she figures they can both use a little time to collect their thoughts first.]
Murphy
We still need to talk.
