[ The journal opens to the sounds of flapping wings and a soft laugh, they are happier now that they are a distance from the castle. No longer hissing at every shadow and sound. Even Dany herself has relaxed a little more (as much as she affords herself).

Drogon flies around the tent as she turns her attention to the journal. ]

Arya? [ No one taught her to filter, so there is no filter for this! ] I promised you a visit, it is time I made good on that promise. [ A small gush of air brushes past the journal. ] You may come visit now.

[ Turning from the journal for a moment she watches the black-and-red dragon land on top of her furs, the cry that leaves him not aggressive or agitated. ]

It surprises me that more do not move to the city than have. Are you all so content to live underneath the roof of your captor, knowing what it does to you?

[ And wait she does, not before opening Rhaegal and Viserion's cages. The latter remains asleep while the former climbs out, stretching his wings.

When the girl arrives Daenerys will be seated, white hrakkar skin cloak pooled around her, hands working on fashioning her hair into a braid. ]

Are you blind to its doings? The castle you speak of kidnaps and violates those it takes, stealing from them precious things.

[ Nymeria has been leading the way. When she first catches scent of the dragons, she snarls. But the time the tent comes into view, Arya has Nymeria by the scruff. If the direwolf decides to charge, Arya is not strong enough to stop her, but the touch should at least keep Nymeria from attacking first. ]

Can they not wish for the means?

They could, but a few weeks ago the castle decided to punish those who wish for things...so I think people are still cautious of that.

Or maybe they just didn't think of it.

[ Drogon reacts first, head snapping in the direction of the entrance. Stance tense, muscles coiled. He hisses, as does Rhaegal. The noises from his brothers rouses Viserion who slowly raises his head. With a half fashioned braid Daenerys hushes him. What fierce children she has. Only the size of a small dog and still prepared to attack whatever threatens their mother.

She decides the leave whatever hair unbraided loose, tiding it up before getting to her feet. She expects only the girl, as she exists her tent (looking every piece Dothraki), she certainly does not expect the direwolf at the girl's side. The surprise almost stuns her. ]

All the more reason to abandoned the castle's walls. The castle appears to do nothing but torment its residents.

That's just what it does to mean people. Nice people like myself, and you I hope, don't lose anything upon coming here!

Heh, maybe.

Then again, I'm not sure simply leaving the walls are enough to be free of that.

[ Arya recognizes her on sight. She doesn't need to know Daenerys' face to know her; the Targaryen coloring is as infamous as it is rare. What does draw her interest is how normal Dany appears. No crowns, no stifling gown, no too big jewels like Queen Cersei favored. She smiles. ]

Hello. Don't worry, she won't bite. She's just not used to real living dragons.

[ Dany stares at the journal for a moment. She sees the tall copper form in her mind, blurry and alien. She hears the sharp scratching sound in her ears. ]

You are wrong, it takes from everyone. No one is exempt.

Well that's strange. I don't think it took anything from me. Maybe I'm just special.

[ She has very few gowns in her possession, but she does not wear them not anymore. There is little point, she thinks, and finds herself more comfortable in the painted leathers of her people.

Arya is nothing like the traitors her brother painted in her mind; she is youthful, bright. She looks as if she belongs to the grass and trees around them. But Daenerys focuses more on the wolf than Arya, amazement trying very hard to overcome fear. ]
