[If anyone goes into the games room today, they'll find one (1) snoring redneck on one of the sofas. That is, before he wakes up and blinks around, confused.]

This ain't where I fell asleep...

[So, he's going to gather up his journal and head on out... That is if he doesn't bounce off of something in front of the door and onto his ass.]

What th'fuck...?

[There's nothing there. Nothing indicating any sort of barrier, or anything else to stop him leaving...

So, he tries again, same result. Yep. He's trapped in here.]

[Jono had already been there when Daryl comes to. he can sympathize, not knowing the full extent of Daryl's plight, as he's awakened here more than once himself, on those rare nights he'd video game'd himself to sleep. He watches quietly as Daryl tries to escape, and suppresses a laugh as Daryl bounces away from the door a second time.]

Looks like the castle's pullin' a fast one on ya. I sympathize.

[And he turns back to him game. It's some manner of violent shooter-type game, and he's doing fairly well at it.]

[And he's just going to kick the door-frame angrilly.]

[He takes Daryl's hostility in stride, again sympathizing with Daryl's plight. He's never been trapped anywhere by the castle, but he's had just as weird experiences since he's been here.]

Might as well make yourself comfortable then. Up for a game of pool or something?

[Nope, he's just going to grab up the spare controller.]

[He chuckles, having been in his share of bar fights in the past.]

Fair enough. I've had my share of pool cues over the noggin in the past. Don't know if I wanna mix it up with anyone around here, if I can help it.

[He'll start up two player mode of Ring: Stretch, for them to play against each other.]

I'll warn ya though. I've got a lot of spare time, so I'm pretty good at this game.

[There's a snort here at that 'warning', and the game starts. Sure, Daryl starts off a bit rusty, resulting in a lot of frustrated grunts and strangled sounds of anger...

...But he slowly starts picking it back up.]

[Jono, for his part, wasn't really trying all that hard, but as Daryl continued to improve, Jono found himself stepping up his own game little by little.]

You're not bad at this. You play often?

[His own playstyle is of course pretty slow-paced and lazy, but he's a strategist at heart.]

[Guess who's still trying to explore everything that this Castle has to offer, Daryl? Yes, this woman right here. Poor you, you really can't seem to get away from her can you? She hadn't known you were here of course but she had planned to check out the rooms on this floor today so here she is opening the door to the Games Room.

Oh and just as he shouts those last words into his journal too. She might flinch a little but move inside anyway.]

Daryl? ...I thought you didn't like it in the Castle?

[ Chase is looking for House and decides to check the games room. He notices Daryl there. ]

Something the matter?

[Oh, it's you. You're just going to get an angry glare, Carol, but it's general pissed-offness.]

I don't. This fuckin' room won't let me-- [And he kicks the doorframe angrilly.] --leave!

[Sorry, Chase. Someone's just a little bit pissed off. He kicks at the doorframe.]

You best let me outta here soon, y'hear? [Yep. Calling out towards the ceiling. He's fine.]

[Don't worry Daryl she's not here to deliberately annoy you but what a strange coincidence, right? She moves further into the room, looking around it before she looks back at him with a raised brow.]

Well...maybe that's not such a bad thing. It's not bad in here.

Ain't even touched one of these in two years.

[Daryl seems to be mostly mixed bag. Despite his outward appearance and demeanor, he's actually very smart. He knows when to be tactical, when to go all guns blazing, and when to snipe. He's no expert, but he can hold his own.]

[A scowl, Carol. All the scowling. Everything in the castle is bad.]

That ain't the point. I'm sick of this fuckin' place messin' with me.

[Oh she's used to it. Those scowls don't really intimidate her any more. She's not going to lie, they definitely used to but now she knows what kind of man you really are, Daryl. She folds her arms across her chest and nods her head]

I don't know what it's like, you've been here a lot longer than I have. So, I can't imagine what this place has done... [A pause before she nods towards the dart board]

...Can you play darts?

[He's about to retaliate with a rant on just how bad the castle is, when Carol's question derails him.

He looks from her, to the dart-board and back.]

'course I fuckin' can. Th'hell kinda question's that.

[A pause.]

You challengin' me?

[She smiles a little at his response and she nods her head. Of course he can she'd pretty much guessed as much, which is why she had asked in the first place.]

Yeah, I mean if you're up for it.

[She's not an expert really but she's not the worst at it either.]

You might as well do something to pass the time while you're stuck here.

That's a first. [ He's never heard of the castle trapping anyone inside one of the rooms before. Chase stretches his hand out and tries to feel for the invisible barrier, but nope. Nothing. ]

Is this only happening to you or is this room cursed?

[So, Daryl's just going to snatch up the darts and go to stand on the spot.]

Watch an' fuckin' learn.

[And he takes his shots, scoring pretty high.]

[And he's not going to try again. He likes his ass unbruised.]

[She does keep back from him as he takes his shots which is probably a good idea. She smiles a little at his score.]

Well, it's good to see you weren't exaggerating when you said you could play.

[She takes the darts from the board and takes her own shots scoring high but not as high as him]

I don't exaggerate shit.

[And he goes to snatch the darts back again]

I don't need t'impress no-body.

Well, that's good to know.

[She stands back again for him to take his shot. He doesn't need to impress anyone, no but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.]

Of course you don't. It's a good thing that's not why we're playing then isn't it?

[You get a look, Carol. Like he's trying to figure you out.]

Why're you tryin' t'be nice t'me?

[She'll look right back at you Daryl, you know that. And there's nothing to figure out, she's a nice person. She just shrugs a shoulder. What is she meant to say to that? 'I can't lose you too'?]
