[ The sound of someone turning over sheets of paper. It's really faint, so unless you're really listening to the journal for whatever reason you'll probably miss it. The "Dang!" that follows shortly after the sound stops isn't so quiet though, neither is the sound of John squirming around on his bed trying to get closer to his journal. ]
Wow... You know, I wasn't really thinking about it yesterday, because I was doing other stuff instead, but I just realized that I have officially been in Paradisa for two years! By Earth standards at least, which I am pretty sure this castle uses anyways so it's not like that qualifier really matters. It's kind of weird to think about how much time I have spent here though. It's still really easy to forget I've been here as long as I have!
Which is pretty stupid now that I think about it, because a lot of people have been here for even longer than I have. I am pretty sure there are people who have been here for like six years or something along those lines. Which has to be way worse! And then other people who only stay a month or two.
Has anyone ever figured out what the pattern to that is anyways? It'd be kind of nice to be able to tell if my friends are gonna stick around for awhile next time they show up at the castle again. Er... if they even show up again, I mean. I kind of hope they do, I actually miss Dave's stupid raps and Jade's weird furry obsession.
