003 The Sunshine Room [Written]

[Carol's heard about The Sunshine Room from people around the Castle. Yes, the room that becomes the Snow Room on certain days of the week. But it's a Tuesday and it's her first opportunity to be able to check in out. She leaves her room on the seventh floor and moves down to the third floor. She's not sure exactly where it is but like all the other rooms the door is labelled.

She pauses for a moment before placing her hand on the door handle and moving inside. People might remember from the family vacation that she's never been to a beach before in her life...this is the closest she's seen and she falls in love as soon as she walks in.

There's no one else in here yet so she sits down to enjoy the sunshine and the view in the room. Taking out her journal she writes.]

The Sunshine Room.

I'm surprised that there's no one else in her actually, it's such a beautiful place. If I had the chance I would be here every day that I could. I guess the novelty might wear off eventually. But for now I'm just going to enjoy it while I can.

[She nods her head at that answer, even though she knows the girl's not going to hear her. She did jump a little at the voice too, she's still trying to get used to hearing voices coming out of her journal.]

Yes, that would make sense. I haven't been to the beach...well, ever so I guess I find it more interesting than other people would.

Yeah, I lived right by the coast.

People don't seem to like it when it snows in that room in any weather, however.

You did? Then I guess this room isn't very interesting to you if you're so used to it.

[Carol shakes her head, she never was a fan of the snow. Not that she saw that too often either.] No, I much prefer to be warm than cold. Most people do. Besides snow can get tiring quite quickly.
