♫ 7 [broadcast/journal]
[Gren's broadcast starts of with this little tune. As usual, it plays all the way through before there's a soft chuckle]
You know, I think it finally just occurred to me it's summer. Not that I didn't notice, but that I didn't really think about it. We usually take it for granted. I think we can be at least a little grateful that this place even bothers to observe something rudimentary like the changing of the seasons. It could just decide to make it winter forever, or, heck, not even observe any kind of logical season at all.
But anyway, I thought - it's been a long time since summer actually felt like summer. Like when you were a kid, and it meant freedom.
And maybe freedom is an idea we can use more of.
So, tell me one of your favorite summer memories from back home, or something you like to do that makes summer feel like not just another stretch of months in the year.
[And then the music will start up again, with a nice long list of songs that tie in the theme...and so on....]
....
[Sometime later, in radio silence]

I haven't seen you in a few weeks.
