As I am certain some of you are aware, a few days ago the expedition came under attack by prehistoric birds that bare a remarkable resemblance to ones from Earth. Tall, carnivorous creatures,named Phorusrhacos longissimus or terror birds.

Most peculiarly was a brand on their legs, [And he scribbles in this symbol on the page.] if anyone happens to recognize it.

[And then this next part is said rather sheepishly.]

And I don't suppose anyone would happen to know of a location to, build an enclosure would they?

We could probably build a ... fence of sorts around the perimeter, so it might have a large place to live. Run around and stuff. You could do your research from one of the outposts without anyone bothering you about it.

It is a little difficult to do so, as my own ability that would shorten the time it is spent captive does not work out there. [It's okay, he's very much used to it. Besides he'll just do what he can to reassure Cloud.]

I was thinking that or one built out close to the lake to insure it had water near it. Also someplace with shelter of some kind from the elements, so it doesn't bother us and can enjoy freedom in the outdoors.
