[Well, this is awkward. The fairy ball was nice and all, and he remembers having a lot of fun, but he needed to set things straight. What happened with Rapunzel...that was the fault of the fairy wine. Totally. He wouldn't do that with a girl (even if she is a lovely and very cute girl) if he had been in his right state of mind, and the more he thinks about it, the more embarrassed he feels.]

[So he opens his journal, gulping in a breath of air before he starts speaking with a nervous sort of waver:]

Um.

Let's say a person got a bit too drunk on magical wine and sort of...well, kind of kissed a girl they only met a day ago. Actually, kissed twice, now that I think about it...

Anyways, what do you do to apologize in a case like that? Because, I mean, a kiss...that's kind of a big deal, isn't it?

[He drifts off after that, unsure what to say, before ending that filter and writing in another one.]

Hey....um.

Is it okay if I come over? I just have something to say...about last night.

[A moment of silence goes here before he closes the journal, way too uncomfortable to elaborate.]

I would feel super bad if it was her first kiss, in that scenario...

Well...we literally only met a day ago, and she's nice and all, but I think that was a bit too quick! To go and do that to her...

Yes, I did, but only for a day or so. She seemed really nice, but I don't know too much about her at all.

I mean, I wouldn't feel embarrassed about it if I was, right?

Well, you're probably just embarrassed because you were drunk. That's no way to kiss someone for the first time!

Exactly! And that's why I want to apologize, because it was really not the right state of mind to be at all for a kiss!

Well, why don't you ask her if you guys can just go on a regular date instead? Then you can get to know each other.

Right, okay. [Poor kid;] So then maybe you should just apologize for the crass behavior. If it turns out she didn't mind or even liked it, maybe ask her out for a date or something to get to know her better!

[He hadn't thought about it, but the idea of a date with her is totally nerve-wracking. He's never been good at this romance thing- even if he did ask her out on a date, he would surely ruin everything.]

Isn't there a way to get to know people without the, um, romantic part?

I liked it, but...I have a feeling that was just from the wine. I don't want to set her hopes up for something that might not have been real...

Besides, I want to be her friend! Why is everyone assuming it will turn romantic...?

... It could be a platonic date, I guess. [she sounds so disappointed ... WHY CANT YOU GUYS JUST MAKE OUT AND HAVE BABIES ALREADY]

Um. But really...how would you know if it was love or not? Like, the feeling of being in love with someone.

[hmmm, that's a harder question] We~ell, everyone is different! But I guess, when you see them, you just feel really happy. And you think about them all the time, maybe even to the point where it's hard to concentrate on other stuff.
