If I could have your attention, please.

I'm Alan Bradley and I'd like to speak with you about some emergency procedures here at the Castle.

About a year ago, an organization called Code Blair was formed to protect the youth of the Castle in the case of an emergency to make sure that no one was left behind in the event that an evacuation was necessary. More recently, another group was formed for the evacuation of the general population of the Castle.

Over the past few months, Agent Carolina and I have been restructuring the two groups in order to form a more effective and efficient plan. The two plans have been combined.

The general structure is as such: each floor has two Floor Captains who are responsible for evacuating all those on their floor to safety. Due to the fact that we now only have one TARDIS at our disposal, the designated safety area is the Castle's Ballroom, located on the ground floor. The TARDIS will be used to escort those in otherwise unreachable areas. If the Castle itself is dangerous, we will relocate to an Outpost.

However, in order for this plan to come to fruition, it is imperative that we have more Floor Captains. I urge you to volunteer in order to ensure the safety of those in need of it. A clear head is the most welcome resource in times of trouble.

How often has this been needed in the past, if I may ask?

Not often - only once or twice. But it's helpful. The last time it was used was when the Castle flooded just prior to a world change, and we needed to get everyone to safety.

It's also a preparation measure. We don't want deaths to be the reason that a system gets implemented.

What happened, are you alright? [He hasn't heard about the loss, having just passed by the question about states.]

A contingency plan. Good to know. [And good to know that there are actual "plans" so to speak, and knowledge to help said plans along.]

I'm glad there's that kind of consideration around here to begin with.

I'm not staying in the Castle currently, but it wouldn't be a problem for me to retrieve anyone that might be left behind in the event of an emergency.

Exactly. Better safe than sorry, especially when the Castle can be so wildly unpredictable.

Mr. Bradley established Code Blair a while before I arrived last year, but between the holes in both of our plans we don't have enough volunteers for two systems. Now even with just one, we don't have nearly enough people to cover the positions.

It's nothing serious. [And boy is she grateful right now that Alan didn't answer South's post.] I'll be fit for duty as soon as it's done.

We'll put you in as an emergency back-up, then.

i used to be floor warden for terrere tower but im in and out so much i should probably let someone else take over the position
however ive recently moved the west outpost transportalizer into my old respiteblock
thats probably the easiest way to evacuate
its on the ground floor too so its easily accessible from the lobby

I'll help if you're short on people. [There's a slight hesitation, a breath.] I'd just not prefer a leadership position.

That's certainly a predicament. [She's trying not to make light of the situation, she promises!] Aside from captains willing to lead the stragglers, what other roles would you ask of others?
