104.3 - Stark FM
[ Anybody turning to the radio today for their weekly dose of Hard Harry will be sorely disappointed. Or not. Because the voice that greets Paradisa is definitely not some teenage radio jockey's. ]
Good evening, ladies and gents. Some of you may have noticed, but I am not your usual radio DJ. This is Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, and I'm afraid that I've hijacked the airwaves tonight. Turn off those radios if you'd like, but I'm just going to play this entire thing for the journal anyway, so you're really not getting away from me.
Also, the fact you even have a working radio tower? You're welcome. [ At least, he assumes he built it. ]
So, the question burning in everyone's minds... what's up this week? I think the one thing you should all know about is the fact that there's going to be some major remodeling in the city, starting this week. And by major remodeling, I mean that I'm going to be demolishing a priceless city landmark - one that I own, before anybody even says anything - and building a bigger, better building in its place. The Avengers Tower is going to become a permanent addition to the Paradisa skyline, and really? It's going to be a thousand times better than anything that anybody else here has ever built. Which is saying a lot, since I built and-slash-or designed a lot my last time here.
That? Pretty much all you need to know.
[ He pauses a moment, shuffling some papers. Notes? Who knows. ]
Now with that announcement out of the way, let me finish this up. If Tony Stark does something, he does it right.
It seems that your usual guy throws in some call-outs to the new residents. So let me just note that there haven't been any new residents this week. Shocking, I know. But good old Paradisa is keeping you on your toes, and it seems like some familiar faces are showing up in the city itself. And they think they've been there their entire lives. Creepy. Paradisa, you've outdone yourself. How about a round of applause for the malevolent, mind-altering, and all-around magnificent bastard of a castle?
Yeah, okay. Enough applause. Time for some real music.
[ And with that, he cues up the music.
Also forwarded to 10 PM, posting an hour early because dinner. ]
