[It's the first thing he does, follow the only familiar scent in this entire place. Standing in front of his house, to being somewhere else in seconds...With a sky that doesn't look even remotely normal?
They're going to have the answers. It takes no real effort to slide in through the open window, to sneak up behind the teenager in the chair, even without his abilities, and grab him by the sleeve of his over-shirt.
This Stiles? Is you meeting the wall, and his forearm pressing down across the base of your throat, lightly.
This look? Says so much]
HOLY GOD-- Derek?
[God, it's been months since he's seen any faces from home. And while he might prefer Scott, Derek's better than a random hunter]
Stiles!
[Explain, immediately. Him being here is obviously not a big deal, because it's all your fault]

I thought we were over the whole wall slamming thing? Pretty sure we made it to talking about things like reasonable acquaintances.

His eyebrow arches high, and his mouth purses together. Patience, he doesn't have much of it. How does intimidating silence sound?]
no subject
And silence just as annoying as ever.]
I'll tell you when I'm not pinned against a wall.

He'll give him a long, searching look for a moment. Stiles isn't lying, but conceding ground has always been a bone of contention for him. Finally, just before the moment drags on just shy of being awkward, he'll slowly back up and drop his arm down to his side.
There, you're not being pinned. Go.]

Thank you. And now that I can breathe- welcome to Cair Paradisa, where the castle feeds off of emotions, supposedly. And before you ask, not my fault. Blame the castle.
I'm completely aware of how crazy that sounds, but that's all we've got. [And his heartbeat is just as steady as ever. There were no lies, despite how ludicrous it all sounded.]
no subject
Are you alright? [ Sounds like someone angry just came to the castle, whooo. ]
no subject
He's fine.
[Just angry- like always.]

no subject
[Technically all of that is true.]
no subject
no subject
[Okay, what is that?]
Is there a bird in your room?
no subject
Stiles? Are you all right?
no subject
Not a bird, a dragon.

Stiles isn't lying, which is completely aggravating. There's no way this- any of this is true, and the fact that Stiles actually believes that is, makes everything so much harder.
Perhaps it would have been better if he'd sought out alternate sources after all]
That's really what you want to go with? ['That's all we've got'? You can't not be looking for a better answer just because you believe this, that's bullshit]
no subject
Yes.
no subject
[Stiles has been researching. That's what he does, but so far that's all the information that's around. There's no person pulling them into an alternate universe. It's just- this place.]
It's what everybody thinks is true, anyway.

You can't be serious.
[Even believing this, that's the extent of the information they have? Seems like he'd be better off doing this himself, using enhanced senses that they just don't have.
Starting back towards the window now]
no subject
[Sure Derek, you'll totally figure out more than the people who've been here for years. Your nose is completely suited for sniffing out magic. Or the location of their invisible captor.]

I can hear that much, but the boy... I hope no harm has befallen him.
[ And there is a hiss in the background, though it is unclear whether or not it is threatening. It simply sounds... displeased. ]
