[Unaware of just how much time had passed while she dreamed and shared experiences, Sheena awakens from sleep more tired than when she started. Although it's more a mental exhaustion than physical, it's still draining enough that the idea of falling back to sleep is a very appealing one.

However, the notion that what she has just gone through being the result of the castle and one of its trick won't die, so after several minutes of debate, the young ninja leaves the relative comfort of her bed and changes, taking what she needs for where she's going.

A place away from the castle and possibly anyone else. Flipping open her journal, she speaks quickly.]

Hey. Sheena here.

I'm not exactly sure what just happened, but if anyone wants to talk or something, we can do it over this thing, or--

[A pause]

Or if you need me, I'll be staying in the stables for a little while.

[Filtered to Zelos]

...

[She has no idea what to say here but maybe he'll get she understands--sort of.]

[Filtered to Once-ler]

That's what you didn't want to tell me, wasn't it? I-- I really can't hold it against you, Once-ler, and you saw why.
And--
I'm sorry about trying to kill you.

[Filtered to Ino]

I really couldn't stop myself from trying to kill you. I-- I just wanted you to know that.

[That done, she closes the book and hightails it to the stables.]

[He bites back his anger. It's not her fault the castle did this]

Yeah. And I'm sorry for poisoning your lungs with noxious chemicals and then trying to blow you up with high pressure pipe bombs.

[it takes her awhile to respond, debating whether she should just ignore it or not. not because of sheena, but rather because she'd rather not deal with what happened]

It's fine. It wasn't real, anyways.

[Zelos definitely remembers everything that happened. It's been on his mind for awhile.]

[But this is Zelos Wilder. Since when did he EVER speak his mind? Instead, he's gonna try to pretend nothing happened]

[There's no response for a long time. Perhaps she's on her way to the stables, or perhaps she has nothing to say at first in the face of his anger--other than her own. Finally, her voice--surprisingly calm--comes over the page.]

I didn't mean to find out, Once-ler. It just happened. There's nothing for me to be happy about.

[Was he actually sorry, or just bitter? She can't tell, but her voice is still calm as she answers.]

And what do you mean "trying"? You did blow me up.

Hi, Percy.

I hope so, since I really don't know how long I'll be there.

[Sheena really would like to not deal with it, but she spent most of her life running away from her fears and problems.]

No, but it could have happened. [On her planet.]

Other than that, are you okay?

[The voice that answers is quiet, almost hesitant.]

... Dealing with all the stuff everyone else is dealing with?

You seriously staying in the stables now?

[He shouldn't BE angry, he knows that much. He chose to bury his past here, to choose the life of anonymity he knows he doesn't have at home. Not until people start to forget he even existed at all, anyway.

It's been a tough few days for everyone, including her. He lets out a ragged sigh]

I prefer to tell people in my own time. I guess the castle got tired of waiting for me.

[He is sorry, really. He so desperately wants to be DONE with the life he led where he just hurt everyone. He doesn't want to be that person any more, but time and time again he just slips right back into it]

...Point. Well, I'm really sorry for that.

[ ... well, that's something she wasn't expecting. "it could have happened"? she's pretty sure no one is strong enough to just take over paradisa ...]

What do you mean?

I'm alright. It was just annoying. [okay, it was a little more than JUST annoying, but ... tough face, tough face!]

Hey... everyone knows it wasn't real. Everything is fine. [a pause] Well, mostly. I guess some stuff got taken while we were asleep, but it wasn't anything too important.

Point is, it's not your fault.

You mean the nightmares? Yeah.

[How can he sound so normal?]

[This is the dude that pulled off being chilled after being told Exspheres are people. Horrible nightmares? Easy to fake]

[She hesitates for a moment. She knows Ino's a friend of Zelos and is surprised that he hasn't mentioned anything to her about Yggdrasill and the power he had.]

Um, Mithos is real. Well, he's no longer around during the time I'm from, but he had lived at one time.

Annoying? That's all it was? [Sheena had found it more than annoying to watch herself attack those she considered friends and not be able to stop herself.] I wish I could say that.

Figured. [he's used to nightmares, but he can get how other people would need time to themselves]

[She wishes she could be more like him in that regard.]

So what if I did?

[It's not like she'll be going around people any time soon.]

I didn't notice if something was taken. [Then again, she didn't notice much of anything as she ran from her room.]

I know...

But, I can't help it. People saw those they knew die in my dreams, Lloyd.

[And she watched as Zelos died.]

[She barely had the chance to try to find that same anonymity here before these dreams decided to step in and change that. What had been a famous incident back home was nothing to those who hadn't known her before, but thanks to the castle, she was now forced to be the one to divulge everything.]

Back home, others would have to tell about me because I was afraid to face my past. Sometimes, I wish it was still that way, but the castle definitely made that impossible.

[She feels the same way, Once-ler. That's partly why she became a protector--to make up for her sins and to end suffering. But, sometimes, she tends to hurt those she cares about--mostly unintentionally.]

I'm glad it was a dream. Otherwise... What kind of magic was that you used?

[Everything's magic to her.]

Hooray for the castle. I hope it's super proud of itself.

[Her question causes a moment's confusion]

Magic? I can't use magic I'm not-OH. You mean the explosion? That wasn't magic, that was just a pipe bomb.

Well, that'd just be one more problem.

Why the stables?

[Quiet voice time again.]

No people around.

Huh?

But lots of people visit the stables. I see them there a lot.
