8th Card [written]

It's always a little irritating to only understand a divination in hindsight, though I suppose that's the nature of the beast. For what it's worth - I would advise against scrying on the castle, if you have the ability. And I think our losses are going to prove near-impossible to retrieve.

Your castle, however, appears perfectly safe at the moment.

I think we ought to talk.

I might have spared you the trouble, had I thought to issue a similar warning.

Well, that's good to know, at least. I hope it didn't prove too troublesome for you.

You are well, I hope? The experience was not a pleasant one for me. [That's what happens when you try to delve into the mind of a very powerful magic castle, Galadriel. It pokes back.]

So this castle only protests if you go poking after its secrets, then. How kind of it.

[If only more people understood that logic.]

I am glad to hear it. The warning is alarming enough, to my way of thinking.
lord_wizard: (intense)

so sorry for late

[Felix has done his best distance himself from both the castle and his usual haunts. Missing Ashura drove him to visit the stables to check on his lover's dragonhorse and take a long ride around the borders of the forest. Clow catches him on his way back, as stabling the horse he's borrowed for the day.]

Forgive me, but might I ask your name? I do not believe we have spoken before.

With luck. I would hate if it decided to only let you spy on me.

[He pauses, as he hanging up the bridle, to glance back at Clow, then goes back to his task. He isn't smiling. In fact, his carriage seems to tighten up at the other mage's presence.]

I see you found me.

[He sounds vaguely lordly and bored, but with a curt, angry edge to it. No, he wasn't going to make this easy at all...]

Yes. Much better to go prodding at other people. I'm sure they'll be far more fascinating.

How astute. But you're here anyway, so I suppose that means you don't care about that.

[Very technically, Felix wasn't one either. He'd fallen into that discipline largely by chance, and the Gardens were almost the only thing he spent time on, but he wasn't going to mention that.]

As listening to everyone else talk these last few days would have told you. What is your point?
