 [Ever since his return to Paradisa, Will had been kept too busy to think much about the odd feeling of weakness he had sometimes.  And if he had noticed that he often felt tired when alone, he easily attributed it to the stress f being brought back to this place.

But it had been over a month now, and he could not ignore this any longer.  Hesitantly, he opens his journal and begins to dictate into it.]

I think that something is not quite right with me.  Is there a doctor I could speak to?

Duke, isn't it? Are you well now?

... Correct. [ He should know this one - ]

... I recall you have a time spell, but ... not your name. And.. well enough. [ He's shaken by the nightmares, and sore, but more or less okay. ]

Ah, I must have failed to introduce myself before. My name is Will Stanton.

And.. work in the clinic, if wish for aid. [ He's also currently lurking in it, but that's not the point. ]

There is something yes. If you don't mind I could come to the clinic now.

[Several minutes later Will will walk through the door of the clinic.]

[ Duke's been listening for people coming in. He's probably not going to be much help but he might as well try. ]

... Although not too certain on how much help can be. [ What he's vaguely referencing is the fact he's not-quite looking at Will as he walks in. ]

[Will blinks in surprise. He hadn't known that Duke could not see.]

Are you blind?

But I suppose it doesn't really matter. I think... that this might be something of the castle. I am not entirely sure.

... Something of the castle. [ Just using your wording there, Will. ]

Should not cause that much a problem; most of medical knowledge was magical anyway. Find a seat?

[ Duke doesn't really have much of an idea of what he's doing, but Will might be able to notice that Duke's magic is sort of swirling about the room. ]

I see. I am sorry, it must have been difficult adjusting.

[Will sits down on one of the beds.]

There's usually someone in the clinic.

[A... pause.....] Uh, unless you mean mentally?

.... When the castle changes its interior, it is troubling yet.

[ Duke stands somewhat awkwardly where he was, then finds a spot on the wall to lean against. ]

Describe what bothers you? Will attempt to use magic to aid own understanding. If find uncomfortable, mention. [ If Will can feel magic, it might feel like warm thick-but-not-there ghosting over him. ]

While I confess to not possessing many skills within the healing arts, I certainly know of another who could possibly assist you.

[ He pauses briefly. ]

I speak of Lord Elrond of Rivendell.

Lord Elrond? [Will smiles in recognition of the name.] We have met before. But I did not know he had such skills.

No, it is something else.

In all due truth, Elrond also hadn't learned of his true skills until very recently.

[Will frowns as he tries to figure out how to put into words what had been bothering him.]

I was very sick once. I had hepatitis, you see. I survived the fever, but I was very weak for a long time after. It took me several months to rebuild my strength.

But what I feel sometimes here feels to me very much like that time.

How marvelous for him! I do not have any such knowledge myself.

.... A ... drained? sort of feeling? Similar to fatigue, yet not?

[ Duke thinks of mundane reasons before poking about any sort of unnatural causes. ]

If it is purely physical, would suggest seeking different diet.... [ He has the idea its not, though. ]

Nor do I, young one. Hence why Elrond's laden talents are quite respected in our realm.

You are from Middle-Earth as well?

Yes, something very like that.

[He frowns unhappily.] I have tried that, already.

[ He almost feels the need to state more, but Celeborn wishes not to bore the youth with needless tales. ]
