(Earlier...)

[Spike's been feeling... something since Faye left. Not missing her, he decided, but noticing her absence more than he usually does when people leave. Nobody complains quite as loud as she does. Nobody has a longer list of things he's done to piss them off either. It was something like that; reasons that are in no way tied to any sort of emotional attachment. (As if.) -- Today though, he found a key. A key that belongs to a rare artifact of the future, which he discovered like a late parting gift still parked on the castle grounds.

She left her ship. (Sometimes he really loved that crazy bitch.)

During the next ten minutes, he debated how to approach this. For the most part, Spike had generously kept his distance from her ship, even if he could have made a lot more progress if it were in his hands. Now that she's gone, it'd be stupid not to see what kind of equipment he had available. With a skilled pilot like him, if anyone had a chance, he might even be able to find out what's behind that force field surrounding the planet.

With that thought in mind, he jumped in the cockpit and flew off like a bullet towards the skies.]

[Residents may have felt part of the castle shake, as one ace pilot expertly landed a malfunctioning zipcraft in a hole where the kitchen used to be. The slightly pained voice that pipes up over the ever-present journal (once he untangles himself) is suspiciously tied to the background noise of creaking metal and falling debris.]

She wasn't kidding. [Behind him, something that sounds like a small explosion (or a microwave shorting out), brings his attention to exactly what area of the castle he plummeted into. He narrows his eyes at the wreckage. Well damn.]

... That's not good.

OOC: Basically this happened -- Spike found Faye's spaceship and decided to test the ceiling in the sky. The ship ultimately malfunctioned before he reached space, and he somehow (read: not possibly his fault) missed all the open land and broke into the wall of the kitchen. (Mod approved!)
