KONOHA DAY FOUR

[You've received the summons from Lady Tsunade, the leader of Konoha. She asked that everyone meet in front of the Hokage Tower, and by the way everyone in town is rushing over there, it must be urgent.

When you arrive, it looks like the whole village is here: lined up in an orderly fashion, all looking up towards where Lady Tsunade stands to address them all from a balcony on the Tower. A hush goes over the crowd as she speaks.]

I've been informed by our intelligence squad that we have an incoming threat. It seems the Akatsuki are behind an attack on Konoha. However, they have brought with them an army. They have an estimated ten thousand soldiers.

[She pauses, as murmurs pass through the crowd. Ten thousand? That's a whole lot of soldiers! Way more than they've got in Konoha!]

They will enter Fire Country by tomorrow morning. We have until then to prepare ourselves. I want all capable soldiers to assemble back here in an hour for debriefing! Those who feel their mind would be a greater asset, head to the Intelligence Division building in one hour! And finally, those who cannot fight will be evacuated to the mountain immediately! That is all!

[Well, there's your orders, folks. What to do now?]

[Well, that's kind of … a lot of information to take in at once. Doesn't it suck that you got caught up in all this, despite not actually being from this village? What to do?]

[Tsunade will be waiting at the Tower for all those who want to fight. She seems a little tense, and she has a pile of papers next to her on a makeshift table. Come talk to her?]

[Up the stairs and into the mountain, past the library, there's several hidden chambers where you've been evacuated to. Presumably there's some other people here who have also been evacuated. Anyone want to play Go Fish?]

[Lemony approaches with his journal and pen in hand, looking remarkably confident for someone who just got here. after all, this is the sort of thing he was raised and trained for]

Sir, I am Lemony Snicket of Team Fifty, and I wish to volunteer.

Hank will merely observe for now, unless he's approached.]

[O-oh, she's a little intimidating. And Tsuna can't help but feel a little nervous about the whole. Well. Ten thousand soldier ordeal.

But he'll swallow his nervousness and take a deep breath, and walk toward her.]

What is it that you need us to do, ma'am?

[Fighting is what suits Dairine best, so of course she goes to the Tower. She approaches Tsunade with the seriousness and respect that the young wizard... er, ninja, usually reserved for her Senior Wizards. Dairine had picked up on her name and rank while listening to the crowd, so her greeting is more formal.]

Lady Tsunade, I am on errantry and I greet you.

[She'll give Tsuna a smile, thought it's a bit tight-lipped. This shit is stressful, yo.]

Tsuna-kun. I'm glad you came. [she'll reach over to the pile of papers for a small packet, which she hands to him] This contains all of the information we have on the Akatsuki and their soldiers.

Thank you for coming, Dairine-chan. [She offers her a smile, though it's gone quickly. They have stuff to do! But she'll hand Dairine a small packet of papers, full of information on Akatsuki and the soldiers] I expect you will find this information handy.

[konohafy]

[He'll give Lemony the once-over, before he gets a small nod. Alright, dude, you pass.]

Everything we have on Akatsuki, as well as the intel we've received regarding the soldiers are at your disposal. [He waves a hand over to a nearby table covered in books and handwritten reports]

[That's cool, Ibiki will just be ordering other people around for now. There's a lot to be done if they want to be prepared to fight!]

[Rapunzel hasn't moved since the announcement. She's just standing there, her expression a mixture of frustration and thought.]

[Look, Kurt would love to help, but he'd get himself killed. Yeah, he was on the football team for a year in high school, but so what? He's not stupid, and he knows he has nothing to contribute intellectually either.

[she'll hand her a file on Akatsuki and the intel on the soldiers] This is all the information we have right now. Study it carefully.

[It's still weird that everyone here seems to know her name, but okay.]

[She looks a bit confused, one eyebrow raised. As far as she knows, Tsuna has always lived in Konoha ...] I know everyone who lives in the village -- that is a part of my duties as Hokage, as you know.

[ All Echidna heard was "I'M A HOT BITCH AND I RUN THIS JOINT." This place feels just like home! BRB following after Tsunade forever (or trying), because she is probably where interesting things will happen. ]

[ Echidna hasn't really paid any attention to who her team is supposed to be, if they're even around, but she's interested enough to look into things on her own. She doesn't normally do the 'army sign-up' thing, but it's the best way to get information this time.

She knocks against the table. ]
