You've probably noticed by now if you've talked to him, but something's up with Percy, and he's kind of a little kid again. I don't know if it's a loss or what, but just... keep an ear out for him. Make sure he doesn't get his butt kicked.

[Most of this is dictated while he's on his way out of the kitchen, with two bowls of popcorn stacked in one hand and the journal in the other. He scans the room, circumventing the stairs in favor of the most shadowy corner he can find.]

When does this snow usually let up, again? Winter is starting to get really old, really fast. I'd like to go outside without my socks getting wet for once.
