I guess I used to be more hopeful about it. If someone came back even having forgotten everything, I'd think it would be better to try and reach out to them again.

Now I guess I wonder why I should bother. I've seen some people come and go a lot of times, and I've outlasted a lot of the people here. I don't know why I should go to connect to someone who probably won't even stick around.
