[There are the sounds of a video game heard from the other side of the journal, and it sure does sound like there is a whole lot of action going on!

But, above it all? There is a certain troll dictating into the journal.]

You know what would have been cool? If some of us could keep those powers we manifested when we got sick. I mean, come on, invulnerability? If I didn't use it for myself, I'd just use it for the next big bad that threatened the castle. I'm not that insensitive.

And it's not like my levels of pride would have changed, so I would just be the same old me, just ridiculously overpowered! If only...

[Sigh. Now some engines are revving!]

Well, my hopes and dreams aside, I found this wicked game over in the game room? It's called Sugar Rush, and it reminds of that human baby game Candy Land? Except the characters are in race cars? I don't even know, but it's not completely boring.

And it kind of makes me hungry, but whatever. Anyone who isn't a complete loser should come and challenge me! I'm tired of smoking these bots!

Like I said! It's all sugary and sweet and all the racers are like, little candy people! It seems like something you'd vaguely appreciate.

[And the troll will just be grinning from the first player seat, giving Jane that sassy chin lift of acknowledgment.]

Sure is! It's fairly new, too! Finally something breaks the monotony of the games I beat a million times over.

[She hops into the second player seat.] Do you think someone wished for it? Or the castle brought it here on a whim?

Probably a combination of both! I'm always complaining that this place needs more games, and to be honest, I occasionally find new games every week or so. That might be a regular thing.

That would definitely be nice.

[Now she's getting a closer look at this game.] Oh! Oh my goodness, they are all little sweets children!!

See! I told you! I warned you. [And Vriska's chuckling.] Hurry and pick one-- I'll even cover this game, just for you.

[Vriska's looking for a challenger, is she? In that case, Nepeta is hurrying over toward the game room to find her spiderfriend and take her up on the offer. She has no idea what this Sugar Rush game is or how to play it, but the name is adorable and surely Nepeta will excel at it based on that alone.

When she arrives, she stands in the doorway and points to Vriska, shouting.]

I don't know if it was really all that great... And besides, you have a lot of really neat powers even without that, right?

I'm going with Candlehead, because she burns the brightest! [YEAH, I WENT THERE. And Vriska's going to put the quarters in...]

Okay, so! The cool thing about this game is that you can make your own car by decorating and then baking it! It's like this series of mini games that allow to customize your car to your liking! Isn't that neat?

[HAHA WHAT IF JANE COULDN'T BAKE HER GAME CAR? THAT WOULD SUCK, VRISKA THINKS...]

Really? How creative! Whoever thought of that deserves an award. I hope they got an award.

[The car itself will probably come out a little funny with some very odd and probably not helpful features, but it would still be driveable. She'll probably look a little disappointed as the games happen, thinking how she could've done this so much better.]

Me too! It's such a good game because it's different than you basic cookie cutter racing games-- haha, pun not intended!

[And now the mini game is starting up after the initial car shape choosing...]

Okay, try to get ingredients to fall into the bowl by moving the platform! You'll see a lot of junk falling down too, so try to get that into the bin on the left. It's pretty easy, just a whole lot of reflexes and a good eye for what's coming down!

[Vriska's standing, hand on her hip and even moving her head in a very sassy manner! SASSKA.]

You sure you got the skills, Nep? You sure you can handle this?

I do! But can you imagine how much more awesome I'd be if I couldn't get hurt? I'd be so much more powerful than any challenge that would come our way!

[Yay minigame starts! Jane starts off pretty well, but pretty soon she finds junk falling into her bowl, oh no! There's a lot of button clicking and joystick moving over here.]

I guess that's true. I don't know though, you are still pretty powerful and could probably take care of most challenges anyway.
