I guess it's winter and all, but...what's with the tree all lit up? I don't know anything about this kind of holiday but it seems really...nice. All lit up and pretty.

Would someone mind telling me about it? I figure if I'm here I should learn. I guess.

[And Chell's noticed the tree too. And hasn't ever seen any such thing in her entire life... at least that she can remember. And she sort of knows Asbel. So when that dictation comes across the journal, she wanders over, peering at the tree. To Asbel's question, she offers only a shrug and a very confused expression, as to say "I have no idea."]

[She shakes her head to his question, and then for added emphasis draws a little frownie face in the journal. And then she kinda leans forward, staring at a Christmas tree ball caught in the light. Man that's pretty.]

[ He watches her for a second. ]

Well, we'll just have to get someone to tell us all about it, right? This tree is pretty cool. I'm just not sure what it means.

Anyway, Christmas is a holiday that you spend with your family and friends. It's celebrated with all these decorations, and on the twenty-fifth, you give each other gifts.
