[Giotto was on the lookout for any and all Christmas decorations that could possibly be the magical kissing sort, because he really did not want to be kissed. The only problem with this plan was the castle was filled with Christmas decorations and really, it could be anything. Maybe the safest place was outside the castle itself, even though it had seemed to get cold overnight. It couldn't honestly decorate the town, could it?

And he could sense the boy in the library, possibly trying to avoid the exact same thing. Usually he also hid in the library, but he didn't want to scare him like last time. And since he was not in the town, the town seemed like the best place to go for the day.

Also, Ino lived in town. Perhaps he would run into her and apologize for how rude he had been to her a few days ago. He had been upset, yes, but that didn't mean he could make little of her problems or shut the journal on her.

So he bundled himself up in a black long coat and a scarf, and walked down to the lobby. Of course, he has no idea that nutcrackers are the magical kissing decorations, and that they literally have populated the lobby and that by passing through there, he has left himself completely open to being kissed by anyone who would walk by him.]

[Rapunzel tried to avoid the nutcrackers, but being locked up in her room? No way. It was way too uncomfortable, now that she'd had a taste of freedom. So she was just trying to be careful, especially as she headed through the lobby.

A familiar face distracted her, though, and she grinned.] Hello, Giott-- [...Wow. He's really gorgeous.] Oh.

...Oh? [He stops and turns to look at her. Right now, he isn't near any nutcrackers, so he still has his head. And he sees the look on her face.

Oh no.] Ah, Rapunzel...

You look really... Really nice today.

[is_mafia]

And I think that is just the magic talking. [He takes a few steps back, away from her, before she does anything she might possibly regret.] Rapunzel, you actually don't believe that.

Of course I do... What are you talking about? I feel it. You're lovely. And really sweet.

[is_mafia]

And it's wonderful that you feel that, but- [But, with his backing up to get away from her, he had backed right next to a table with a nutcracker. Suddenly, he forgot what he had even been trying to get away from her for. He smiles at her, taking a few steps forward back to her.] Thank you for the kind words, but what about yourself? [He reaches up, and brushes her hair behind her ears.] You are beautiful, inside and out.

Thank you. [She blushed and fiddled with her sleeves.] I'm really glad you think so.

[And with that, she leaned up to kiss him.]

[He smiles at her blush and then leans down to meet her halfway, pressing his lips to hers.]

[It's a nice, sweet kiss; one that Rapunzel is happy to be a part of...

Until the magic wears off. At that point, she pulls away and sighs, blushing lightly.]

Sorry about that.

[is_mafia]

[The magic wears off, and he pulls away too, blushing considerably more than her.] A-ah... [He looks the other way so she can't see how absolutely flustered he is.] Yes. I apologize.

[ino]

[oh hey what a coincidence! she's getting ready to go outside, too! she doesn't seem to notice him just yet, she's just pulling on some mittens and buttoning up her coat to go outside]

[is_mafia]

[He sees her, and sticks his hands in his pockets, almost sheepish and walks over to her.] Ino.

[ino]

[she blinks, glancing back as she pulls on a mitten. she doesn't look mad, though -- in fact, she'll smile when she sees him]

Ah, hey, Giotto.

[is_mafia]

[He smiles back at her.] Ah... I wanted to apologize for the other day. [He runs his hand through his hair.] Just because I was upset, it gave me no right to ignore you nor shut the journal on you.

[ino]

[she listens thoughtfully]

Well, it was a personal topic, right? I'm not surprised you got upset.

[buuuut]

You were kind of mean, though.

[is_mafia]

[He sighs, and looks at her with a rather sheepish expression on his face.] I know. And I am sorry, for making it seem like my loss is any greater than yours. Because it's not. They may have different roots and causes, but the pain is the same.

[ino]

Well, then. [she'll hold out a hand for a handshake] Apology accepted.

[is_mafia]

[And he'll shake her hand, with a small smile.] Thank you, Ino.

[ino]

No problem. [casually changing the subject now, nodding at his coat:] Heading out?

[is_mafia]

Ah, yes. I figured that the castle couldn't decorate the outside or the town. And Tsuna is not there right now, so I can explore properly without running into him. [Because this always seems to be a problem.]

[ino]

... Eh? Did you guys run into each other?

[is_mafia]

Only that first day, but he's been avoiding me. [His flame always seems to be in a different place, or at least as far away as it can be.]

[ino]

[a little frown .... TSUNA, stop being such a little weenie ... she will have to rectify this]

... Well, I hate to break it to you, but the town celebrates Christmas too. You won't be able to get away from the decorations for long.

[is_mafia]

...Ah, well. [He gives a tiny shrug and a careless smile.] I can still go anyway. I don't mind the cold.

[ino]

Really? [she looks at him a bit dubiously] I think it's awful.

[if the excessive bundling up when it's not even THAT cold yet is any indication]
