[Martel is wandering the halls of the castle, looking at all the decorations. This his her first Christmas here, really, because last Christmas she was in Paris, and had only just gotten her memories back. if she thought about it, she realized that it was next week sometime. She didn't know the exact date. She had been here for a year. It had seemed to go by so fast... It seemed only yesterday she had been confused as to why her journal had started talking to her.

She wasn't actually bothering too much to avoid the nutcrackers, because she really didn't mind being kissed that much. Oh, Yuan may mind, but it was just a castle trick and she thought it was silly to avoid them when they would just pop up anyway wherever.]

Is it always so pretty around Christmastime here? [It's more to herself than her journal, though.]

[Dhaos on the other hand is very much not okay with being kissed by complete strangers. He's always been reserved around those he's not close with, and now... Well, he's mostly taken to avoiding people as much as possible. Still, he does have to eat on occasion, and so it's heading down to the kitchen that he runs into Martel.]

Ah, hello Lady Martel.

[Zelos is walking by, minding his own business, when he notices green out of the corner of his eye]

[Oh hell no. Of all the girls to kiss, he reaaaaly doesn't want to kiss grandma. So he immediately tries to back away before she notices him....]

[And walks straight into some decorations, getting tangled up in them]

- Gah!

Oh, hello, Dhaos. And Martel is fine, really. [Being called a lady will never seem right.]

[She turns at the noise and sees him tangled up in all the decorations. And then she laughs.]

Zelos, what are you doing?

Oh- hey Martel!

Just...got tangled in decoration! [He makes an ugh noise as he tries to get some tinsel out of his hair]

[He may never completely break the habit of referring to her by a title, but he will certainly try.]

Yes L- ...Martel.

[She sighs and walks over, helping him get the tinsel untangled from his hair.] You should probably watch where you're going.

See, much better. [She smiles at him.] Now, what are you up to?

[oh good help!] Heh heh, yeah I'll try harder to do that.

[And with the help, he breaks free of the tinsel!] Thanks.

You're welcome. [She takes the tinsel and hands it back where it was.]

So what have you been doing lately?

[Um....all things you shouldn't tell your grandmother is what]

Heh heh, not too much really.

What about you?

Nothing much either. Just walking around, looking at the decorations. It seems like the year has just flown by.

Huh? Oh yeah- it's getting near a year for you isn't it?

[And Zelos is unaware, but when did that nutcracker get on that shelf on the wall there?]

Next week, actually. As long as you don't count when I was here before.

[The nutcracker is behind Martel, so she doesn't see it. But Zelos, she never noticed how pretty your hair is.]

Heh...yeah, that'd just complicate things!

Gonna do anything for it? [And wow he's never noticed that his grandmother is so hot- wait what]

Hm, probably not. Why would I? [Yes, she is, especially with those nice breasts and that boob window that he can probably stare straight at, as she's stepping closer to him into his personal space.]

Attempting to avoid the wooden soldiers for the most part, although currently I am in need of food.

[It matters little that his strategy involves avoiding most people too. After all, it's working rather well so far, barring a few instances.]

[She's reaching up and wrapping her arms around his neck.]

The nutcrackers? Oh, you can't really avoid them. They pop up everywhere, really.

Well mine wasn't that bad...

[And you know what? He's just going to go with leaning over to kiss you now]

[She kisses back, tightening her arms around his neck. At least this is a much better kiss than Once-Ler's.]
