Well... you already know the castle put me and Arya together. And after that, the castle wouldn't let me out for the rest of the week. So.. well, I guess you can imagine what happened. [Awkward kisses galore!] And... yesterday I got into a fight with Ino.

What was the fight about? [Though he can guess.]

I... don't really want to talk about it. [yep]

Lemme guess, about her meddling?

[... he looks up and frowns at Zelos.] Did she tell you something?

Not a whole lot. Just a few things here and there when she wasn't trying to meddle in my life.

[A few things is a few things too many for him. First Giotto, and then Zelos, too? Even if he'd trust Zelos with the information... he told it to her privately for a reason.

He gives a sigh.]

[Zelos crosses his arms, glancing down at the city before he speaks]

You wanna know why I agreed to train you?

[Oh, not... entirely sure he does but okay ;;]

Because you're stronger than you think. And you're stubborn on what you find important. I mean there's a lot about you that I find annoying and I don't necessarily agree with what you find important, but...the stubbornness impressed me.

But lately...[a shrug] I dunno, I feel like you've been losing sight on those important things. Letting stupid stuff like fear or whatever get in the way.

[... wait, hold on, did those words really come out of Zelos' mouth?]

[...well, dang. Arya had been right. He hadn't believed her when she'd said that Zelos wouldn't deal with him if he wasn't worth his time, but he'd just been too down on himself to believe her at the time.

He honestly sounds a little bit baffled as he stares at the ground.]

I just... always thought I was a burden.

[He makes a scoffing noise, seriously?]

Please. As generous my big and benevolent heart is, if I thought you were a burden I'd drop you off on someone else.

[Are you absolutely sure that you're not just throwing him some bones, Zelos? Because even with you saying it outright, he feels reluctant to believe it.]

... I guess so.

I mean it! I'm much too lazy to deal with that stuff.

Anyway, I'll have the homework done by the end of this week.
