I find it kind of ironic that, only a couple days before I arrived here in Paradisa, I broke off my engagement. And now, here I am and it's nearly Valentine's Day. I feel a bit like that information I was given about the castle doing things because it's funny, isn't entirely off-track. Obviously, I can't completely believe in a sentient castle but it is a strange sort of coincidence.

[A short pause as she thinks over her words carefully.]

Now, the important part.

I've met a few of you already and I appreciate everything you all told me. I'm still skeptical about a lot of things but I least I know what's going on for the most part. For those of you I haven't met, my name is Samantha Carter. I'm curious about how many scientists are here and if you've learned anything of importance.

Of course. We're all stuck here, I see no reason to keep it all to myself unless my findings are incomplete at the time.

I've heard some stories. Like the castle taking everyone to Paris for Christmas?

[Don't mind the skepticism! She can't quite get rid of it yet.]

[ Skepticism? Christina's lapping it up. Finally, someone else who doesn't like what they've been told. And she's just as skeptical back ]

[She hasn't heard that one yet! Oh god...]

So I've heard. I'm just glad I wasn't there for it, but who knows where it'll go after that.

Just don't count this weekend off. Apparently it has a nice time around holidays.

Oh, fantastic... The irony of it all is growing more and more scathing.
