[Katniss sighs as she cracks open the journal, a Coca-cola bottle in her hand as she watches the adorable polar bear baby toddle off down the steps.]

Well, now I'd just be a horrible person if I hunted them.

[She glares at the bottle, before she sighs and takes a swig off of it. It's fairly delicious, and she doesn't feel horrible, so that's a relief. She sits down on the ice steps, a grumpy expression on her lips.]

So what the hell am I supposed to do now for entertainment? I can't very well shoot at icebergs.

[She said into the journal, before she took a long pull off her bottle.]

[ No answer. Just quiet. That's your warning. Outside, Arya attempts to sneak up on Katniss, a snowball in her hand. ]

[She grumbled, looking out at the endless expansion of ice and snow.] Besides, aren't all the books ice?

[She frowned as the journal went quiet, speaking at it as she lifted the bottle up for another swig.] Arya?

[She took another swig off of her bottle, her lips twisting upwards.]

No. I practiced stalking some of them, but no actual shots were fired.

[Katniss takes a hit off the bottle -- just as the snowball pegs her in the back of the head. Needless to say, there's some spray]

WHAT THE HELL --

[She spins around, spotting Arya. One corner of her mouth twists upwards.] Oh ... you are about to get it.

... You were going to hunt them? [They're so cute, Katniss!]

[ Arya cackles and throws another before running away. ]

Oh. Maybe you could check out the view outside or build a snowman. I bet there's someone who'd even like to join you.

eventually, she settles for just shaking her head]

Yeah. That might be for the best.

[Katniss manages to duck out of the way of that one, before she drops the bottle in the snow and scoops up a handful of the cold white stuff. She balls it up quickly, running after Arya as she does.]

Polar bears are not poisonous. They're dangerous, but not poisonous.

[Katniss is shaking snow out of her braid, when she reads Hermione's post. Huh...]

[ A surprised shriek of laughter and Arya dives behind a pile of snow. She scrambles to make another snowball. ]

Because they are baby bears. Who kills baby bears who give you delicious drinks?
