Okay, here, new question for all of you: how long do these things last? Because I don't know about the rest of you, but I wasn't expecting the glacial arctic when preparing winter stuff.

Usually no longer than a few weeks. Which is probably not much of a comfort when it's this cold, I know- and it's possible I could be wrong, since I've only been here for a few months myself.

That's one way to put it, yes- only it affects the entire castle instead of just an individual.

Which means there's no way to escape it. That's just peachy.

How often do they happen?

Yeah, it's something you just have to get used to, I guess.

Once a month or so. No telling what or exactly when, though.
