It has been a good day!

[He's a touch tipsy :')]

I rather like this Christmas. You see, in my time, gifts are usually only given between landlords and their tenants, so it is sweet to see that everyone is so generous in the future.

However, I rather prefer it as Novena, in which we have fun for eight days, and into the New Year.

Also, the man who first created la presepe -- a nativity scene -- was an Italian! He may not have been a Florentine, but Italian will have to do. Yet one more thing you should thank Italia for! We may as well have invented Christmas for you all.

And while we are on the subject: why have I not see any presepe here? You should get on that, fellow residents, it is not too late! At worst, if we cannot find any sculptors amongst our lot, we can just have some dress up in costume and pose for some time in the lobby.

[Yeah, tipsy.]

But even so... to my friends, grazie per la tua amicizia in my first year in Paradisa. I hope there will be more to come!

[Grin and a laugh. Being tipsy means the edge off of a confrontation with Lucrezia, but it also comes with a level of cavalierness he's supposed to be avoiding.]

Who cares? It's acting. I could pretend to be a poor man.

How has your Christmas been?

It's been filled with quite a lot of interesting events, but I'm sure they pale in comparison to anything you seem to have endured.

[From faking returns home, to preparing to lie about the castle gifting her memories back, she's planning for an interesting new year.]

How much have you had to drink this evening?

I doubt you could act celibate for a day.

Piccina, I have been celibate for weeks.

Yet I find myself doubting still.

There is the thought that I have this wonderful gift and it's just being looked at.

Of course. How could a man like me be involuntarily celibate? I can call down fica the same way Zeus calls down lightning.

I can assure you it's worth looking at.

Though, I'm not sure the castle can grant that sort of wish for you. It might require a bit of legwork on your part if you actually want to see it.
