[Morning arrives in Paradisa and for once Gren can actually be found in the castle proper. It's Christmas, and there doesn't seem to be anything the castle can do to dampen his spirit, lingering ice-melt not withstanding. He'll be easy enough to find - stopping for a quick breakfast in the kitchen first on his way up through the hallways to deliver the few gifts he'd gotten people (there was no way he'd ask the ghosts to deliver them for him, after all). His ultimate goal is of course the room of his erstwhile comrade. He's already smiling to himself as he knocks on the door.]

[Nora's actually in the hallway on her way to the kitchen, herself, when she spots Gren. She grins and gives him a little wave]

Merry Christmas, Gren! Or, wait, do you guys still celebrate Christmas?

[Dhaos is already in the kitchen when Gren arrives, peacefully munching on a piece of toast. If he seems rather oblivious to what today is, it's a mixture of not particularly caring about holidays and having no other explanation than a few Christmas carols, which are rather useless without any sort of context.]

[Knocks on the door rarely bring good news, in Vicious' experience, which might explain why it takes him a moment to even open the door. And when he does, it's with an expression of half irritation and half apathy, although when he sees who it is, he actually leaves the door open, waiting to see what it is Gren wants]

I do have something for you though. [He juggles the large bag he's carrying at the moment and digs a medium-sized red box from it's depths]

[Gren hadn't expected much more from the other man. More so on Christmas morning, maybe, but that didn't daunt him in the slightest]

Good, you're up. I have something I need to show you.

[He gives Dhaos a friendly wave and sets his bag of yet-to-be-delivered Christmas presents on the counter]

[London's already smiling, but her smile gets more excited as she notices this good-looking guy walking the halls and delivering presents. She walks up to him, leading her Pomeranian Ivanna with her.]

Ooh! Are you filling in for Santa?

[Faye's just opening her door as Gren walks past it.]

You seem like you're in a good mood.

[He stops and smiles]

Because I am. It's a day full of potential, can't you feel it?

[He slings the bag of gifts over his shoulder]

In a much smaller capacity, yes.

[He really should have been expecting this sort of thing from Gren, but somehow, he hadn't quite.]

I hope it doesn't involve bears.

Well, not unless we run into some on the way, but that's not my fault. You should put a coat on, by the way.

I take it arguing is pointless.

[But he supposed Gren had a good reason to be handing out ultimatums to him, or he wouldn't have done it, so he ducks back into his room for a moment before returning, coat in hand]

[Gren just smiles and waits silently, internally bouncing like a kid waiting to go downstairs to open his presents.

He turns on his heel and starts leading Vicious towards the elevator.]

It'll be a short hike.

[Gren's been spotted. And Chell's not forgotten him at all. So, being Chell, she suddenly appears next to him and waves with a massive grin. There's a plate of cookies in her hand. After waving to Gren, she turns to offer him a cookie. Hey. Cookies are good breakfast food, right?]

[Santa Mark is dropping off the last of his mix tapes and CDs when he spots Gren and gives him a wave]. Hey, dude, long time no see! Merry freakin' Christmas.

You mean because it's Christmas?
Yeah, I guess there's always room for improvement.

[Her eyebrows go up] You do? [She chuckles and smiles] I don't know why I'm surprised. I have something for you, too. It's just in my room.

[She reaches out to take the box] Can I open it?

[He arches one eyebrow slightly, but pulls on his coat as he follows without asking any further questions, for the moment, sure that he'll have the answers soon enough, anyway.]

Do you have a present for me?

I guess you could put it that way.

Any plans for the day, then? Go see your comrade, maybe?

If you want. I don't plan on sticking around the castle long. Just delivering these, and then I'm heading back out the outpost.

[He smiled at her, a little sadly. Honestly he hadn't meant to get her hopes up.]
