[Flipping through the recent pages of the journal, Katherine frowns. It seems the castle is doing end of the year cleaning.]

It seems the castle does have a taste for unfortunate timing, at the moment.

Tess Mercer, it seems, has returned home. [To be fair, Katherine is actually upset by this, but not as much as she is upset by the other departure from the castle that she's not sure she feels like announcing.]

Though, on that note - I was wondering if someone could tell me when Lilah Morgan left?

[Despite feeling like she doesn't want to explain how she knew him or how close they truly were, Katherine turns the journal to a blank page and writes in a simple printed line:] Neal Caffrey has been sent back home.

[Taking a moment, she feels better having separated them by a page. Keeping her business and her personal matters separate. She'll come back to the page that has his news on it, but for the moment, she'll return to her question about Lilah and the discussion of Tess. It's easier for her.]
