11 | In Which Howl Trips over the Castle's Generosity [Dictated]
[There's a bunch of shuffling noises and muttering, as though someone's flipped open their journal by accident while looking for something else. There's a brief pause, and then the jangling 'twang' of a guitar, sounding rather abused, followed by another muffled curse]
Oh--
[But whatever profanity was going to follow is cut off abruptly as Howl notices the journal]
It looks as if the castle didn't forget me after all. Though I don't know what possible use I'll have for this here.
[There's another out-of-tune noise from the guitar, this more deliberate than the last]
I suppose it's the thought that counts.
