[There's a deep breath that gets picked up before the speaking starts. Jo's seen how many people have left recently and the hits keep coming.]

Max... [She pauses, frowning a bit.]

Anyone that had been here in the Lux for the past few years had Max wait on them at least once. If I wasn't here at the Lux, she was. Which is why it really sucks to find out that she's gone home. [Especially since Jo knows what's back home for her.]

My original plan had been to have a New Years Eve party at the bar, but instead -- with all the people getting taken back home lately -- I'm just going to open the bar up for anyone to stop by and have a drink.

[Jo takes another breath and puts her stubborn on overdrive.]

Open bar, I'll put out some food, and maybe we can all just take a moment to remember the year.

[a beat, since she knows she has to get something to keep her busy.] Also, if anyone wants to swing by and help me piece together the events from the last year - castle related or not, I'd be more than happy to listen and see if we can't start keeping better track of the things that happen to us.

You've both been too quiet. I'm pretty sure that means you've either gone home [ha. ha.] Or you're both on losses and I haven't figured it out yet. [please be that.]

...Oh. That's too bad, her leaving before the big party.

[Between Harmony and Max, he's feeling low. (Understatement of the century.) Max had been a friend since day one and Harmony was one of a kind. Her letter is enough proof of that. Spending a night with friends sounds like the perfect remedy or something close to it at any rate.]

I'll be there. Not sure how much help I can be piecing things together though. I'm starting to lose track.

[A beat.] Is there anything I can do for you?

Yep.

[A beat.] Good to know you're still around.

How's the dog?

It tends to blur a bit, but I figure get enough of us in a room, we might be able to work backwards.

[She'll ignore that other part for a bit. She's still processing.]

I wouldn't miss this.

[...Dog.] Oh, right. The dog and I are fine, thanks for asking.

You've got a point. Something is bound to stick out when you start talking about the time we drew lost people into the lobby or woke up in Paris.

That was my thought.

Right. [That ends that conversation unless we're doing not! siblings sadly drink together and recount how ridiculous their lives have been this year. That sounds like it could be fun.]
