Puzzle 005

[Getting kidnapped and trapped in a building filled with bombs was not how Luke expected to spend the last week before the new year. Even after being rescued, he's been avoiding his room like the plague. After all Mr. Many knew exactly where he was staying, so he didn't want to wait around to be caught again.

The downside to that is well, he doesn't exactly have a place to stay in the meantime. So this message will come late in the evening as Luke wanders the halls looking for a place to settle down.]

Does anyone know a good place to sleep? There's um...something wrong with my room.

I know it's getting late but would anyone like to hear a few puzzles? It's a good way to get our minds of this cold weather.

Glad you got out okay, kid.

Whoever it is, it's a pseudonym. There's no one even remotely similar to that name with a nameplate in the castle.

You don't live with anyone, Luke?

Maybe he's the Boogyman?

No, it's just me.

Last I checked the Boogeyman doesn't have a building full of bombs.

I'm glad too. That was pretty scary.

So he's using a fake name then.

Boogeymen come in all different shapes and sizes bucko.

Some hide in the closet waiting to pounce...others use clever little explosives.

Yeah, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Now are you looking for a temporary place to stay, or something a little more permanent?

Um, I dunno. I just don't want Mr. Many showing up at my doorstep.

Then I won't have Mr. Many visiting my room again, right?

[Hence the real reason he won't go back to his room.]

In that case, I guess he is sort of like a boogeyman. He can't hide forever though, right?

[Considering he never got Shego's name or recognizes her handwriting, he doesn't realize who he's talking to.]

Someone might know something.

Did you see what he looked like, Luke?

Well that depends how good he is doesn't it?

And of course how alert you are. There are quite a few big old closets in this castle.

No, I didn't. Someone left a trap outside my door, and when I woke up I was in a room with that girl.

Doubt it, kid. The guy's paranoid.

Hmm. How do we know that the girl wasn't behind it?

You can stay with me, if you're in need of proper accommodations... And I would be glad to see your puzzles.

I don't know, maybe she was. It seemed really weird she didn't know anything about the bombs inside the building.
