Wonderland: Day One

[wonderlandian]

The residents of Paradisa who ventured into the lobby on the 13th would find something new there; a mirror spanning an entire wall. Given recent happenings, who can blame them if they're cautious? Trouble is, this mirror seems to really want to bring people in, because you don't have to get too close before you're through the looking glass.

Once you've gone, you may find that you're not quite yourself.

[Notes/Reminders: Type 1 and Type 2 characters will believe they are Wonderland natives. All characters, including those not entering Wonderland, will be able to use their journals; Wonderland "natives" will think it is a communication device exclusive to Wonderland, although communication between Paradisa and Wonderland through the journals is absolutely possible. You may NPC any number of Tulgey Wood creatures, except for the Jabberwocky.]

[He glances around for a few seconds before it occurs to him that the source might be smaller than he expects. It takes him a few seconds more to find her and zero in on her.]

Oh! Hi.

Looks like. [He sighs, loudly, and crosses his arms.]

And all I wanted was a sandwich.

I think the biggest I've seen is the size of a city. [She hums thoughtfully.] I'd say this will probably be as big as an amusement park.

[ With a slightly agitated tail flick. ]

Are you for real? It's the one thing putting us through all this nonsense! If it's not stupid, I don't know what is!

[She sighs and looks around.]

Why do I have the feeling that this isn't the only weird thing about this place?

[Aside from an abducting piece of silvered glass.]

Pardon? Are you saying that the castle itself has sent you here?

That's how it always works! I mean, I'm not dumb enough to mess around with some weird mirror I know nothing about, but wow! Sure did force me right in!

Well, that's all fine and dandy, but could we perhaps get a move on to the exit so that I hopefully can keep my head?

[wagers]

Wait! [Staring down at this dude... squinting.

SQUINTING........]

Really? Why would it do that?

We'll get you one when we get out of here. How's that?

[She starts looking around, muttering to herself about "a symbol, a book, and now a mirror".]

[He smiles at that. She's figured out how to deal with him. -- Then he remembers what a pain this will probably turn out to be, and the smile goes away.]

Might be a while.

A liar. [Conan was starting to sound a little bored.]

[at the mention of "other people," the flower seems to grow taller in agitation, leaves fluttering. CAN'T GO DOWN THIS EASILY]

Where did you lot come from, in the first place? Suddenly showing up here and disrupting the peace...

Well, for one thing, I don't want to know why I'd be hallucinating about you.
