Another day in the ballroom...

TEAM BUILDING EXERCISE OF THE DAY

The room seems a tad divided today, and for good reason. On the west side of the room is a vibrant purple flag surrounded by pillows and beanbag chairs stacked high. It it looks much like a makeshift fortress.

On the east side of the room, there is a brilliant pink flag that is also surrounded by a makeshift fort.

Between them is clear, open space. You may need that space.

The game is simple: capture the opposing team's flag while defending your own flag.

Reward: a bouncy castle complete with slides.]

THE BATTLEFIELD

right now, she's uncapped one of the silly string cans and let loose a spray to see how far it goes. Hope that didn't catch anyone passing by]

[Of course Spike is on this side. It's where he belongs, after all. Purple forever, bros.

He weighs his Super Soaker in his claws, oh man, this is like laser tag again only wetter! Obviously this is going to be the best freaking day]

So, are we gonna kick butt or a we gonna kick butt?

[OH, HE CAN GET BEHIND SHOOTING THINGS. he hefts up the super soaker with a grin. a day's gotten him over most of his shell shock at most of the WEIRD THINGS living in the ballroom - there's a talking lion, after all... and he realizes this is probably the dragon that Christina was talking about]

No doubt about it. ... Y'know what we need, though. ... [he starts grabbing bottles of water from the buffet table]

[Conan checks over his own supersoaker with a smirk on his face. Maybe it was juvenile, but this was a kind of kid activity he could definitely enjoy. And if he just happened to find an opportunity to hit some of the people he was irritated at? Well, that was just a side benefit.]

[purple reminded Percy of the Roman camp so he obviously picked that side. He's got his Super Soaker read]

We are totally kicking butt.

[Aradia's just wandering by, don't mind her. She hasn't picked a team yet since it feels kind of weird to identify herself with either of the given colors.]

Why pink and purple? I thought Red and Blue were the usual colors for things like this.

[ Hattori is probably more confused than he's ever been in his life which is saying something considering he has a job solving the most complex mysteries. He's just kind of out in the battle field with no idea what's just happened or how he got there. ]

[ He's got a pink band tied to his arm which he finds vaguely irritating as it's such a girl color for someone like him to be wearing. There's a can of lime green silly string jammed in his pocket but he doesn't seem particularly interested in that. ]

[Running into Hattori in the middle of a game of capture the flag was the last thing that Conan had ever expected today. But that was definitely Hattori, standing in the middle of the field. The clueless expression on his face was unmistakeable.

He hastily grabs his supersoaker and runs out into the field as he calls his name.]

[Hi Hattori, you're getting a little purple dragon with a purple band tied to his arm racing towards you armed with a super soaker.

Two forts on opposite side o' each other, and you've got a purple band on your arm an' I've got pink. [ Making a face at that. ]

I'd say we're on opposin' teams.

We're locked in this room. If it had been any longer than a few minutes I would have noticed.

[He turns and starts heading for the edge of the room.
