THE LEWIS AND CLARK - DAY TWO
Well, whatever the heck went down in the Event Horizon has effected you guys, too. A massive shock-wave rocks the ship, sparks fly everywhere and all power but the stasis pods and life support are taken out. The journals are still working, at least, as are a couple of torches, floating around now the gravity is off. Better get to fixing things, at least there might be a few manuals floating around to help you out]

Any tools in here?
no subject
Hey. Uh, they're floating around here... somewhere.
no subject
What are you trying to do?
no subject
Hell, I don't know. Figure out where the short is and fix it. There's gotta be some way to jury-rig something together, at least...
no subject
I'm not that kind of mechanic. I was thinking to try opening the door manually.

Eventually, Brock pops his head out from this thing, looking annoyed. And then he looks up... and looks even more annoyed.]
What the -- you!

Dairine bounces into the control room with a box of tools and a LED flashlight. She moves to grab one of the manuals floating around but shoots Brock a look on the way.]
What are you doing?
no subject
What's it look like?
no subject
Do you even know what those wires do?
no subject
I'm figuring it out. I figure there's gotta be a short or something.
no subject
Sure, whatever. Just don't kill the back up power while you're at it. I like my oxygen.
[And with that Dairine cracks open the manual, going straight for the index. There’s gotta be something useful in here.]

Be careful. There's still power in the stasis room; it's not a stretch to reason some of those wires might still be live.
[A pause.] Actually, let's count on that. How far along have you got?
no subject
When the hell did you come back?
no subject
Three days shy of two months ago. No, don't recall a thing of my last stay so I'll have to ask you to reintroduce yourself I'm afraid and would you like a hand?
no subject
Sure...
See if you can get these things open. I'm Brock.
no subject
Hello Brock. Not the best time for introductions really, is it? Space, zero gravity, emergency lighting... [A grunt as the panel comes free.] You seem a bit surprised to see me.
no subject
Uhhh, yeah. You were... well, the old you, I guess... was here for a long time. And then you -- he -- wasn't.
