Let's say that, hypothetically, someone shows up who's pretty much you. Got the same looks, same voice, everything. Do you call castle shenanigans? Assume he is your clone? Or is there something else I'm missing here?

Purely hypothetically speaking, of course.

Well if it drags people in from alternate worlds. What's to say there isn't an alternate you on that alternate world?

You know, I could buy that theory, too. He is younger than me, but here at Paradisa we just say "castle did it".

Hey, I like that attitude. I come from a world that's pretty mundane compared to this, and my imagination is often not appreciated.

I don't see a problem with a bit of creativity. Makes things a touch more interesting.

It's why I write. I try to stick with realism, mind, but the occasional creative liberties can't hurt.

Creative liberties are needed sometimes to make the story flow better, correct?

Exactly. And nobody wants to read paragraph after paragraph of procedure. They want the action.

True enough. What do you normally about?

Mysteries. Crime. Mayhem. People want the chase and the easy evidence and the bad guy being caught, perhaps an autopsy or two- not so much the waiting for test results and more mundane evidence-gathering.

I'm sure there are some people out there that are interested in the more mundane bits.

Alas, they aren't the majority. I find it plenty fascinating myself, though.
