[Things have been rather calm and quiet in this camp. The carnivores have, as Dr. Harding promised, stayed in the inner circles of the island. It's a pretty chilled out day!]

[Still waiting to be used, there are two High Hides nearby, each allowing five people the safety of the jungle canopy, if they so desired]

[Danny was bored and curious. And attempting to ignore the situation. It doesn't take him long to make his way up to the trees. He always had felt better with heights on his side.

He leans on the railing and just watches the trees lazily.]

[Kelly makes her way up carefully, even though she's not in armor she's by no means a small lady.]

I always wondered what Linda liked about these things.

['These things' she's referring to any sort of high place that could be turned into a sniper's nest.]

The views great. What else could you want?

It's not really useful for close quarters combat. [Which is what Kelly preferred. That, or anything that involved her speed.]

Um, shouldn't we be hoping for no fighting?

[She joins him on the edge, looking down into the jungle.] Have you seen anything?

Not since the stegosaurs left.

[a bit later, Django climbs up the High Hide Danny's on]

Mmm... See anything unusual yet?

Lots of trees.

That's unusual?

Its either a good sign, or it just means everything is going to go completely wrong later.

Well that's the usual...

Yeah. Which means we're all probably doomed.

[Hermione has climbed up to the other High Hide so she can observe the entire camp down below. It looks peaceful from so high]

[There is a baby already in said High Hide, Hermione... and she seems to be thoughtfully chewing on one of the bars as she looks over the camp and the surrounding area]

[wow she didn't even notice the baby at first. The child is so small... about the size of an eggplant. It hasn't been that long since she had Arthur, so her smile grows soft]

Would you like a boost so you can see higher?

[Well hello kind stranger! Sunny looks up, surprised for a moment before nodding. Why yes she would like some help.]

Etaicerppa. [Or rather, "It is generally unwise to request help from strangers but since we are both from the castle I think it more likely that I can trust you so yes, I would appreciate the assistance."]

[she carefully lifts Sunny into her arms. Hermione stands a safe distance from the railing so they can look without being in danger of falling]

It really is beautiful here, and getting to see live dinosaurs is amazing. It would be too much to ask for that to be all we experience.

[She holds onto her new friend, enjoying her new higher vantage point.]

Jurassic. [Which clearly means "This is like something you would see in the movies."]

[Already up in the Hide is this young lady, peering out into the jungle with narrow, observing eyes. Definitely erring more on the side of "constant vigilance" than "scenic observation."

She turns when she hears Hermione.]

Still no present danger below, thus far?

Oh, hello. No, it looks quiet so far. But it's best to be on our guard just to be safe.

Certainly. I highly doubt that a peaceful jungle vacation is what Paradisa had in mind. Though, if it ever did go that route, I imagine we would all spend the entirety of it with our guard sky-high.

I'm afraid that after so many "pleasant" trips turned out horrid, we always expect the worst.

A sad truth. We would all be reclining on the beach, a margarita in one hand and a weapon in the other.
