I'm sorry that I surprised you then. I didn't think that clapping would be all that surprising, or I would have tried to give you a warning of some kind. Not that I can really think of a warning that wouldn't also be surprising, I guess.

Oh. My friends say things like that about me too. Well, it's more like that I'm weak and useless and not confident at all. Which I am, not very confident, I mean.

But I think that you seem very nice, and that you sing in a way that is very cool, and useful. I've been having a little more trouble than usual, to get the animals to understand me, because for some reason, I can't commune with them, right now. You can wake them up with singing, though, and I think that's a thing that's neat!

Yes, I think I would like some help. I guess that I rely too much on my ability, so if you could show me more, I'd like that. In case for some reason, I can't use my ability again someday. It would be a very sad thing, not to be able to make friends with them anymore, just because of that. I'd really miss it, if that were to become a thing.

I'm sure we can work together and help wake them all up. A lot of the problems are just them being surprised to see us... so we have to take slow, steady movements when their eyes open, so they can see we don't want to hurt them. Why, imagine you waking up and seeing strangers!

That would be a thing that was pretty terrifying, I think. Maybe I was getting too close before, or some other thing like that. I didn't want to shout, though, so I had to get closer than I usually like to do, right away.
