[but the pen slides out of his hand before he can finish writing and there's the sound of the journal hitting the floor along with Dextera's unconscious body. looks like the weird blobs got someone else.]

[when you get there it's fairly easy to spot the unmoving body on the floor. he's out cold.]

Hey! [uhm...crap, she never got his name. It'd probably be fruitless, but she smacks him on the forearm in hopes of garnering a response]

[there's no response but he's still breathing at least.]

[at least he's not dead yet -- that's small comfort she doesn't care for, given the way everyone is dropping like flies. And while she's not strong enough to haul Dextera up, she can drag his body along until someone stronger arrives. So that's what she'll be doing]

[it's a pretty easy game of Spot The Body whenever you get into the lobby. Dextera isn't moving but hopefully it doesn't mean that his death count has gone up again.]

[Felix knows next to nothing about first aid, but he quickly kneels down to check if the boy is at least breathing]

[he is, thankfully. though oddly enough he seems to have pulled off the wrappings and the bracelet on his left arm before falling unconscious. there might be a mark on his skin that isn't healing.]

Oh, Dextera...

[Sigh. He lifts up the arm and examines the bruise forming there with a frown, then pockets the bracelet and picks the boy up]

[ just then, some kid comes skidding into the lobby. the fact that felix is vaguely familiar doesn't register at once; she's much too concentrated on the guy in his arms. ]

Dextera?!

[He glances down at her.]

He's out cold, I'm afraid.

[ her fists clench. no.... this sucks so much. she touches his wrist, because it's nice to at least feel a pulse. ]

Are you a friend of his?

[It's a little more complicated that friendship with Dextera, but it will probably do for now]

...I...yes.

If you're taking him to the clinic, I'm coming.

[He's really not going to bother arguing, so he just nods and does his best to get Dextera up off the ground and moving towards the clinic]
