LUNAR FESTIVAL | DAY FIVE | ELDERS & OMEN

[It's the final day of the festival. Now is definitely the time to stock up on any fireworks or exotic gifts found in the market. It seems the vendors are practically giving them away, as will all last minute sales.

By now, residents have received five red envelopes containing gifts. Perhaps they now have a considerable amount of caisos to spend in town? Children might have a nice pile of candy. Or maybe residents received an Elune Stone to use for the future?

The final two elders have appeared in the courtyard, waiting patiently for any who would approach them and pay respect.

Out by the duck pond, however, a sense of unease has settled. The waters have been stirring all day, and the wolf spirits from the day prior are gathering by the waters, waiting expectantly.

It isn't long before something begins to emerge from the water. Something very large, and very hostile in appearance.

[An elven man stands dressed in fine armor of blue and decorative gold. Long hair hangs past his shoulders, and he wears a stern, determined expression. In one hand he holds a spear, the other a shield. From appearance one can gather he is a warrior, and perhaps a noble one at that.]

[Galadriel has paid attention to all the shades that have visited the castle these past few days, but this one strikes much closer to home.

She approaches the figure and gives a small bow.]

Le suilannon, Gil-Galad.

[She knows by now that he will not speak, of course, but it seems proper. Formalities done, she will just linger near the figure, more than willing to explain to any who may ask of him.]

[The lunar festival was a fantastic chance to take some photos and he's hardly going to miss the opportunity, so he may have just snapped a photograph of you two without warning. Same world figures tend to have really good synchronization together, he'd noticed.]

Sindarin, right? It's a nice language.

[He'll take a few steps forward, stopping beside Galadriel and bowing a little to Gil-galad.]

Ni veren...an...gi ngovaned. Did I say that right?

[Well, then. You have taken the only photograph of Gil-Galad in existence and the second one of Galadriel. She blinks a little, both at the flash and in surprise.]

It is, and you did. Forgive me, have we met? Few here speak the tongue of the Elves.

[Shame it's gonna look terrible once developed.]

Not unless we've met before coming to Paradisa, no.

[He'll turn towards her slightly, nodding.]

I'm fluent in...a lot, I've found. More than necessary, probably.

[Well, you've certainly got her attention. She turns her gaze on him, examining him more closely.]

Strange. [After a long moment of silence, she breaks eye contact and gives a small nod.] I am called Galadriel and this [She gestures to the figure] is Gil-galad, last High King of the Noldor in Middle-Earth.

[Dairine is going for an outdoors stroll when she notices this scene. It's not often you see Galadriel bow to anyone.

So Dairine walks over to stand next to Galadriel.]

A friend?

A kinsman, though distant. Dairine, you stand before Gil-Galad, Last High King of the Noldor in Middle-Earth.

[Dairine looks over towards the figure.]

That's quite a title.

Then it is fitting. He was quite a man.

[Felix approaches silently, gazing at the figure]

I take it you're acquainted.

[inafadingcrown]

Well acquainted; he is kin. Felix Harrowgate, I would have you know Gil-Galad, Last High King of the Noldor in Middle-Earth. A pity he cannot tell his own tales.

[lord_wizard]

[More for Galadriel than the spirit, Felix nods his head at the figure in respect. At least he knew his place where royalty was concerned.]

I wonder why that is.

[She appreciates the gesture.]

Perhaps they know something the castle would keep from us. [Half-joking, half-serious, there.]

[While Elrond has briefly come to see what has been going on throughout the days, this time he's stayed throughout the day.

So while he's learned he can't speak, it doesn't stop him from lingering about himself, looking a bit more thoughtful then normal but he is also willing to share what he knows, if prompted of course.]

[She approaches quietly and stands beside him, gently laying a hand on his arm.]

[He only nods at the touch, not shaking it off. This is just, a little to close to home after everything, and his face gets a little softer.]

Do not let your heart be troubled. It is not chance, I think, that Gil-Galad was thus chosen. He exists so strongly in memory- yours above all. Take comfort in that.

Him existing so strongly in memory, is why I wish he was not chosen. Or at the very least not at this present moment. [It was only a month ago he got a lesson in what his twin had lived with after all, it's not that long ago for him to still feel out of sorts.]

[ An exceedingly beautiful warrior. She approaches cautiously, glancing at the tall man with a small smile. Beautiful as well. ]

He is familiar to you?

[You could say that of them both, but aren't all elves? But he does glance down at her, nodding at her smile.]

He is indeed, thought it has been long since I have seen him.

[heloise]

[ She shifts her gaze to the elder, taking in the details in his armor. ]

Was it a good parting?

Is this too late?

[There is a young wizard standing nearby, paying her respects to the apparition. Once she is done however, she notices Elrond. Dairine watches him curiously and rather openly.]

Nope just been busy with things, as I had plans for other characters then go distracted

[And Elrond is just, staring still, being quiet, respectful. If she wants questions answered then she has to ask.]
