Well... that was quite the introduction into this world, Paradisa? If I'm reading that right. Not really the way I planned to start off here, though I admittedly can't say I really planned to start off here at all. Got a good look around the castle though, a little bit of the town. Not a bad place by any means. Of course it would be better if it weren't for the whole kidnapping and trapping us here part.

Buildings these days. They just don't build enchanted castles like these used to.

So, that all out of the way. I'm James Potter. Nice to be in my right mind again and meet the lot of you.

More or less. New to this castle at least.

Wow, I didn't know the castle brought new people when the world is all different like that.

Just between you and me? I didn't either.

[He laughs!]

I know, I meant... It's just weird, that's all.

Are you okay?

Lets just say I've been worse.

Well... I guess that's a good thing. Did you need anybody to explain stuff to you?

I think I can afford a few minutes for a quick explanation.

Okay! Where do you want to start? Worlds, wishes, or losses?

[staggeringego]

We'll go with the first on the list. Worlds sounds good to me.

[fantasies]

Alright!

[He clears his throat, and starts very matter-of-fact.]

So, basically, everybody here is from a bunch of different worlds. Stuff that's normal for some people doesn't exist at all for other people. [He pauses to think of an example.] Like, my world doesn't have any magic, and other people don't know what s'mores are. [Which is egregious, you know.]

This world is totally separate from all of them. The castle's magic brings everybody here and keeps us until it feels like sending us home.

I'm pretty sure it's a curse.

[staggeringego]

[ He's got his doubts about Henry's world not having magic, but he's not about to argue with that. He's not sure how wizarding law applies in other worlds, but better not push that one for now. Maybe once he's settled in a little more. ]

No s'mores? How do people live?

[ The curse comment is interesting though. He's never heard of a curse every doing something quite this grand scale before, but he's also not going to put too much faith in a muggle boy understand what curses really are. ]

What makes you say it's a curse?

[fantasies]

Right? [It's a serious tragedy that needs to be rectified.]

Well, because. We had a curse like this one back home.

[Right after saying his world didn't have magic. He's still learning how to explain this in a way that makes sense, okay.]

To trap everyone like this? It's the only thing that makes sense.

[staggeringego]

[ Not that James ever thought that Henry's world was really completely devoid of magic, though he will admit the whole acknowledging a curse in his world does make his reply a little odd. ]

And you all got out of it?

[fantasies]

[A pause.]

Uh, well. I'm not really sure. I thought so, but...

[staggeringego]

[ If there's a but when curses are involved, it's never a good sign. ]

Not so sure after all?

[fantasies]

I wasn't really... awake for that part.

[He sounds a little sheepish.]

Napping a curse? Not very wise.

[fantasies]

It wasn't my fault.

[staggeringego]

Put to sleep? An enchantment of some sort?

[fantasies]

Pretty much, yeah. I ate one of my mom's apples. That's what they do, put people to sleep.

Enchanted food?

[fantasies]

Yeah. It's kind of her thing.

Well, I suppose everyone has to have their "thing".

She has an apple tree in our backyard.
